Alliances

There are 2 options open the the eUK

1- join an Alliance and hope others don't take offense
2- Stay neutral and hope for the best

Joining an alliance would involve joining either

1 - Fortis ex western nations of Atlantis i.e. eSpain and eUSA amongst others. (very small alliance ATM)
2 - EDEN ex eastern nations of Atlantis i.e. eRomania and eSweden
3 - PEACE

Fortis would keep our old allies close and trade with eSpain would help the weapon industry amongst others. this would be slightly difficult for the eUK as we are surronded on all but one side by PEACE and EDEN nations. This would be a good decision for the eUK as we would have powerful nation (eUSA) helping us if we were to be invaded.

EDEN contains strong nations but they are currently on a downward slope as eSweden is currently involved in wars against eFrance and eHungary. The once powerful eRomania which we have good relations with is at a great distance from the eUK as we are on different side of Europe. there is a problem with not helping out eSweden as they could be taken over by eHungary so they would be very close to us and could invade.

PEACE we currently have 2 PEACE nations at our back door. eFrance and eNetherlands which i think are unlikely to invade due to eNetherland low population. Relations with Peace would greatly improve if we joined but would also create a bad relation with any other alliance i.e. eUSA/Fortis. PEACE is a very strong alliance with powerful members and i would find it hard to see how eUK would fit in.

I believe that staying neutral is one of the worst possible option available to us as we would have to keep many MPP to stop us from being invaded and we would not be active in any wars apart from any training wars.
If i had the choice i would join Fortis or PEACE which both contain strong powerful nations and expand the eUK regions with the allowance of the other nations. the last time we possed any other nations was when eBelgium join us.

Fortis is a bad name they need a new one.

I would like to add that if we are neutral it will probably become difficult to start a training war with people. They will probably want to hold them with their allies, not people who they are neutral with xD

I think we shoukld stay a neutral country as of know as if we join any of those alliacnes the others are gnnabe p****d off, at this time i dont think we have the resources for a long drawn out Cold war of even full on war. We should consolidate an age of rebuilding and restructing before we choose to form allinances.
