Well, I have retired as Airforce commander for the second time. I have been going through a ton of changes irl, and found I just could not do the job. The other day I found myself answering 3 day old pm's, and I knew I had to go. My first stint as commander I feel I did an excellent job under very difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, this time I feel I didn't do the best job.

dmjohnston has taken over as Airforce commander. I kind of dropped it on him out of the blue, but he will do an outstanding job.

I'd like to thank a few people in no particular order.

dmjohnston and Hale26, you were both great XO's.

DiscoMussolini, srroger, and Intolerant, thank you for taking over the qm duties. It is a tedious but very important job.

Rushaun and Synesi, great job with FT. Special thanks to Synesi for sending dmjohnston Airforce's way. Also, we both should be proud of the lasting cooperation between our units forged during our first stints as commanders.

Mantle and the rest of the DoD, I've been a part of USAF for over two years now. USAF is in the best condition I've ever seen. Too often in the past the branches have jealously guarded their turf. That attitude is gone.
