Advice to our Baltic Comrades: Let Russia Fight!
Shoi12
First off, let me wish people living in the US a happy Memorial Day! Let us remember those who fought for us, both in real life and in the New World, and also celebrate a day off from our normal routines! *confetti*
Now, let me get down to what I wanted to say. If you haven't already noticed by now, the Baltics are going through hilariously ridiculous upheaval. As Belarus claims back its original lands, many people are rushing to help our Belarusian buddies out. DON'T.
If what I assume is correct is true, Russia plans to capture the two southern Latvian provinces *see map* that originally belong to Belarus (they've taken one already) before giving them back to Belarus and then start to attack Latvian homelands. If Belarus succeeds in taking Latgale, however, this will ultimately backfire and possibly result in Belarus' wipe once again.
Look, I don't mean to downplay Belarus' power, but one thing's for sure; there's no beating bad boy Russia if your name doesn't rhyme with colon or...lerbia...
If Belarus cuts off Russia's path through Latvia, Russia will become a non-factor. They'll be blocked off by Belarus and will have no chance of reaching Kaliningrad. While Belarus may yet claim its homelands, it won't be nearly as powerful as the Russia-Belarus tag team could be.
What happens if the path stays unblocked? Russia could theoretically capture all of Latvia, connecting the homeland to the outpost to the west. RWing the lands back to Belarus, Russia would be in prime position to eat Lithuania for dessert, or go another direction and give Finland a needed edge in battle against long-time rival Estonia. With Latvia out of the way and Lithuania next, Poland would be at Russia's doorstep, and Russia vs Poland is something we'd all like to see. So please, Belarus, let Russia fight! Besides, wouldn't something like this look nice?
Until next time, take care!

V1, good article mate, but just a minor thing, Balkans is the area to the South East of Europe (Serbia, Greece ect.), Baltic is the North East Area (Estonia, Lativia)

Derp I spell bad.
Belarus is a weak-ass country. Poland would wipe them if they even tried. Also, If russia tries to wipe Latvia, ABC (the baltic alliance) will invade Russia.
^no they are not weak... they are stronger than the UK ^__^
Russia had controlled the ABC alliance by itself for a really really long time, before a treaty came into play
and Belarus has invaded Poland and has not been conquered by Poland in the end....
so both your points are invalid, leave our media!
Normally, I think Shoi is a very good writer. The article on the Serb-Turk war was excellent.
Also, Klop, are you fucking me? the U.K. has 6000 people, while Belarus has 583.
If you bothered to look at history, Lithuania and Latvia have had a long rivalry with Russia, with neither side really dominating the other.
IF YOU WANT ME TO LEAVE YOUR MEDIA, STOP TROLLING IN OURS
Hypocrite...
ABC is a tight-knit bunch, yes, but none of the three countries in ABC are particularly powerful. I'm not gonna wet my pants because Lithuania gets mad at me or if Latvia threatens to invade. There's a reason why Russia is as highly regarded as it is. It could be all of ABC vs Russia and Russia would still have a good chance of beating all three at once.
@GameChanger: man of course I'm fucking with you, you are pretty dumb to get pissed at a troll ^__^ plus read the above post, it is true
nah, I'll keep on trolling your media, its working, clearly ^__^
@Klop
Let the troll wars begin.

@Shoi12
I agree, but accusations that ABC is controlled by Russia is BS.
Latvia could get wiped, as is seen in history.
However, Russia and Belarus would be unable to challenge Poland
^__^
Russia and Belarus by themselves? No, they'd get s-laughter-ed, I agree. But if Romania joined in on the fun combined with US/France from the west and lolNetherlands? That would be a close fight especially if Germany kept spamming revolts.
True, that was what happened in November, with Poland having too many fronts open. However, France is in no state to invade, and the U.S. has to deal with Hungary anyway. Romania will probably not attack, be cause they would have nothing to gain, and they would lose the option of helping Turkey against Serbai, like what you said in your last article
True, but Poland is still much worse off if ABC crumbles. I think we can both agree on that.
I love your articles Shoi, please keep it up!
Mmmm...a pink and red Baltic looks nice (not the MYEYES pink that's Poland though)
well, anyway, keep writing!
voted!
FIgured I might comment on the comments
First, have you seen how badly Hungary is getting their asses kicked by USA? Has Hungary even won one mini against them? USA doesnt even have to take Paris to kick their asses.
Second, Romania will continue to run over weak ONE countries much like Serbia vs weak TEDEN countries, as soon as one diverts from the easy path, the other will swoop in and open a second front.
Third, Russia can NE Poland right now, Kalingrad is connected to St Petersburg
so its not so much of an outpost. But wiping ABC will make it easier on them.
Also GC your opinion is biased. As is ours. We should probably ask someone from Belgium
Or from Czech Republic : P
But what I meant by outpost is that it's not connected to their homeland in any way. If Russia blitzed and lost, Poland could easily gain the initiative and take Kaliningrad and end the war right then and there. It'd be much nicer to have a string of provinces connecting their outlying lands to Moscow.
Kalingrad has a direct route to regular Russia, so it does not need to be connected. Therefore, Poland could continue into Russia. (Kind of weird, I know, but all the original regions have to be connected, so there you go)
@NB:
Everyone is biased in this game, including you guys
that is true....
but we still all say ONE is seasonal ^__^
Yea it sure seems that way. Maybe the mindset who knows lol.
Also Belgium isnt all that biased, they are neutral in our conflict,
