A returning player's rambling about war

Honestly, I can see why the game is lacking at getting and keeping new players right now. I've read it a million times, this game is mainly focused on a war aspect. New players and even players that aren't really new but not super strong mean nothing to the game. I've been looking at battles all across the world right now and it's the same people dropping 9 million+ in every division then reinforcing that division if it gets countered. You look at these dudes profiles and of course, they bought every pack available. I get that erepublik needs the money so they sell pack. The thing is, I don't remember the game being this unbalanced towards veteran players. A new player doesn't even get to deal a 0.01% of the fight because ONE dude payed for the game.

There's literally no reason for anyone who doesn't spend money or has played for years to even try to fight wars. And for game that's all about wars, I wonder why new players don't stick around?

Take the war module for the view of a new player. Your first hit you do like 10 damage. You feel "wow I'm kicking dudes butts!" so you spam that fight button. At the end you think that you did good. Then you look at see you did less than 10k damage and the enemy did over 9mil. You think oh I'll grind up to beat that person so you click their profile. Not only would it be impossible to beat them because they would have stop growing, you'd also have to spend real money on the game to combat them.

Quick Note about the eUS war: That's why we can't mount a defense. We have fewer irl cash spenders, that I know of. There's no point fighting when they're just going to outbuy you. The tactic is probably let them wipe us, let them blow all their money and big hits on us, and then we can mount a resistance.

tl;dr War module favors the pack buyers and super veterans way more than new players so new players are turned off from the game and decide to play something else.
