It's good to be home.
Ya know how ya feel after a great vacation, that you really need a damn vacation?!
In case you've been off having a life this weekend, this is what's been happening in your Army Times.
Friday: USArmy Promotions; May 2011
Saturday: USArmy Holiday Family Fun.
Sunday: USArmy Family Holiday Weekend Continues
Monday: No Lions, No Tigers-- but Polar Bears, Oh My!

Yesterday's Army Times, about the American Polar Bear Expedition, has been submitted to Civil Anarchy's American Idol writers' contest. Watch A Status Quo in Exile for updates.
An old USArmy buddy, now in the USMarines, dropped a load of cash on me so your Army Public Affairs Office can run some cool give-away gimmicks.
We gave away twelve Q5 tanks yesterday.
At this writing, fourteen more Q5 tanks will be distributed, and that promotion is still open.
Just click back to yesterday's paper, and drop a Comment like this:

Preferably war related for Wednesday, and really bad horror for Friday Fright Night.
Must be readily available on the internet (YouTube, Hulu, Internet Archives, IMDb, etc.) and require no special downloads or memberships.
This is not about "Vote and Sub this paper," though it wouldn't hurt my feelings none if you do.
I'd apologize for the lack of content in today's paper, but frankly I'm just too damn tired.

The Commanding General of Fort Huachuca is Major General Custer.

He WAS the Commander of the Post, he has since moved from when I was last there 🙂.
