Comrades,
The Easter Rising of 1916 was one of the best weeks in Irish History. Lead by Pádraig Pearse, James Connolly, Tom Clarke and others this was the week that changed Ireland - well changed who owned Ireland.
However, it did not change anything apart from "the flag that flew over Dublin Castle". People still lived in poverty, on terrible pay, horrendous working conditions.
So my auestion is, what was the difference?
