Good day everyone. Today i bring you an article fresh from my arsenal, my interview with WTP PP candidates. By reading this article, i hope that you have a bit more insight on MrCarey and MazzyCat. I don't set any the topic, i just follow their lead, so you will see some 'jumps' from here to there. Let's get down to it.

ukrosis : Good morning, first of all, tell me about yourself, i'm sure there's a lot new people in party still don't know you.

MazzyCat : Well - I'm MazzyCat! Adorability contained. I've done loads of work in WTP and in the National government. I love chatting and getting to know people. I enjoy pettings and long walks on the beach.

ukrosis : I'd be happy if you tell me your track record.

MazzyCat : My track record.. oh dear.. that's long. I've been PP of WTP 4 times. I have been VP, Interparty Relations, Treasury, and more. I've also worked in the National Government. Secretary of Education 3 terms, 4 terms as Secretary of State, worked with DHS on numerous elections, and so so soso much more!

ukrosis : So you have a lot experience in political field.

MazzyCat : A fair bit... I dislike bragging about myself though.

ukrosis : Interesting personality. So, how do you see current state of our party?

MazzyCat : I see our party as a beautiful, wonderful caterpillar that went into a cocoon and is ready to emerge as an even more amazing and more beautiful butterfly!

ukrosis : You mean that our party still in developing process?

MazzyCat : It's a game that is everchanging. You have to work with the times, and that means you are never exactly the same. I do feel the party had a bit of a slump, and that's ok. I just want to bring excitement back! I feel like I should have music playing while I say this lol

ukrosis : Slump? what do you mean?

MazzyCat : Just things seemed a little tired - maybe cause it was summer and everyone was out living life!

ukrosis : Lets change to another direction, why runs again?

Mazzy : I believe I have the ability to grow WTP even greater.

ukrosis : How do you grow our party?

MazzyCat : By making it a place everyone wants to be.

ukrosis : Okay, what kind of place? don't tell me you'll bring your whole cat army to party.

MazzyCat : Hahaha noooo, I don't want it to be about me, but about everyone in the party. I'm looking at us playing different games, and a few other things. As a community. As a... dare I say it? A.. family. Friends.

ukrosis : What sort of plan you have to improve our party?

MazzyCat : I did mention it in my last article. I joking called it "Mazzy Cat's Plan for Cat's" but I am looking at a variety of things that I feel would be great for the party. From increasing forum usage to keeping up with our congressional sign ins to making our party number 3 in the nation!

ukrosis : So, activity on IRC and forum, here's the problem, how do you attract people to come to irc and/or forum?

MazzyCat : Different ways.. not just 1 thing is going to appeal to everyone. Some people are looking for fun, others information, some might want to make a name for themself. I plan to strike a balance to make sure everyone knows that they HAVE these options and are free to use if they want to.

ukrosis : I'm sure you aware that sometimes we have some 'trolls' on IRC, how do you anticipate this?

MazzyCat : As long as they don't push terribly far.. let them troll! I know that sounds crazy, but #wtp is a place for people to be themself and have fun. Even if it is a little trolly. Long as no one gets truly offended.

ukrosis : Do you have plans on another field, say media?

MazzyCat : I do plan to have media more active during my terms. Media is a great way to quickly and easily let the party know what's going on - I'd be silly to not fully utilize this! I'd like to see at least 1 article a week from media, and hopefully more!

ukrosis : What you want to write? a war report? party progress report or what?

MazzyCat : Party progress is what I'd like to see - as well as announcements and ongoings

ukrosis : Anything else you'd like to add before we close this interview?

MazzyCat : Thank you for your time in interviewing me, ukrosis! I appreciate this so very much. And most importantly - get out and vote everyone! Even.. if you don't vote for me. (Although I hope you do!)

ukrosis : I'm glad that you want to have some interviews with me. Good luck for the runs

MazzyCat : Thank you!

ukrosis : First, tell me about yourself, i'm sure not all the member knows you.

MrCarey : Would you like to know about me eSelf or my RL self?

ukrosis : It's up to you, you can add your background, track record, yeah some kind like that.

MrCarey : Alrighty. Well IRL I live in New York state with my wife and our small zoo of 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 turtles, a frog, and a snake. I work at a company that makes sheds and garages and do all the drafting that's required. In my free time I do a mix of manly things and geeky things. Things such as (but not limited to) table top miniature games, video games, card games, woodworking, wood burning, bladesmithing (soon), mountain biking, and hunting. As for eLife, I've been on and off this game since 2009. I've been much more active in the past year. I served as Party President in September and October last year, I also served as Secretary of Education. I left the game in November because I was in the process of purchasing a house and I had other RL responsibilities that ate away all my time. When I came back in May, I got right back into the party writing articles and then handling election season schedules. I served as Chief of Staff in TB's most recent presidency, and I'm currently Secretary of Citizen Affairs in the education department. I've also dedicated time to the American University as a Dean and a Mentor.

ukrosis : Small zoo? that's awesome, i suggest you should set an aquarium. What a road.

MrCarey : We never have much luck with fish. And yes, I try to keep myself busy.

ukrosis : Tell me, why runs again?

MrCarey : Well, as a party, we are at a critical point in our history. When I was PP in the fall of last year, we had 170 members in our party. Blande was PP after I was and continued doing wonderful work for our party. After that, there was a lack of people with passion willing to step up and take a place at the position. We've fallen over the past 6 months, and there's no denying that. We have 122 people in our party right now. We need a PP who will attention and dedication is deserves. A PP who will be here and be visible to the members in the party. Someone who is ready to take the other members of leadership, make sure they are always being engaged and also engaging others. I feel I can provide all of this, and I want to see our party come out of this slump. I have the drive, the passion, and the dedication needed to do so. That is why I'm running again.

ukrosis : Speaking about our party, how do you see current state of our party?

MrCarey : I see the party in a state where it's filled with new players like yourself who are ready and willing to put forth work and effort for the party, but are missing the guidance, direction, and tasks needed. Even though things have grown stagnant, there is hidden talent, and new talent that is waiting to blossom. Because of that, I feel there is still plenty of hope and possibilities left for our party. It has also been lacking in organization and true leadership, which is why we've had the election hiccups that we've had.

ukrosis : What sort of solution you have to that situation?

MrCarey : I'm glad you asked! My solution is to bring forth a team of awesome! Blande will be pretty much be my co-pilot. He will be a VPP but it'll be more like a Co-PP. We have done a lot of great things for this party, and I know together we can make this party awesome. I also have a bunch of new awesome players in the cabinet who have shown they have what it takes to handle leadership positions and the passion to put out top notch work. I also am going to raise the level of communication between myself, the leadership, and the rest of the party. We haven't had good communication lately outside of "Hey, it's election time, go vote."

ukrosis : I have a personal question, why you pick me?

MrCarey : Is this off the record?

ukrosis : It's on the record.

MrCarey : Well regardless, it's the same answer. I chose you because you've shown an interest in writing articles. You were put into the Media position this term and had little direction, guidance, or anything for that matter in the way of tasks. You deserve that shot.

ukrosis : I'll do my best. "good communication" what do you mean?

MrCarey : When I was PP my last term, I released weekly letters to everyone in the party with updates and happenings within the party. This way everyone always knew what was going on in the party. I had a fresh PPDB every week for my cabinet that got updated as the week went on so people always knew what was going on and what they were supposed to be working on. That's the good communication I'm talking about that I plan on bringing back.

ukrosis : Nice to hear that, is there any other plans you have to improve our party?

MrCarey : Really it comes down to having awesome people in key positions. If you have passionate people who want to do the work, and are willing to do the work, they will produce awesome results. Awesome results = more people. When people see what we are really capable of, they will be busting through our doors. My campaign is that I'M not going to make the party awesome, but the people I'm going to be working with along with myself; WE'RE going to make the party awesome.

ukrosis : anything else you'd like to add before we close this interview?

MrCarey : I would just like to say that I appreciate the support I've received from everyone thus far. I'd encourage everyone to check out the two articles I've released if they would like to know more. In closing, I'll say that WTP is my eLife. I've been in this party and only this party, I've never strayed. I was in AAP way back in the day which is where WTP got its logo from. I have nothing but love for this party, and I want to help it grow back it deserves to be.
