[Wooky 4 Kongress] Blow a kiss, fire a gun.

Do you recall, not long ago
We would walk on the sidewalk

Innocent, remember?
All we did was care for each other
But the night was warm
We were bold and young

All around the wind blows
We would only hold on to let go

Blow a kiss, fire a gun
We need someone to lean on
Blow a kiss, fire a gun
All we need is somebody to lean on

Who do we lean on now?

I think we learned a lot about the past 48 hours.

1. The airstrike had an abysmal turnout.
2. Taxes have been raised to the highest I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been around here and there since 2009.
3. The SFP put a lot of faith in a candidate that ended up taking a huge dump on them.

I think I understand what was trying to be achieved with the air strike, but the passion only came from one source: BeachBunny.

Sure RaccoonGoon I’m sure was running a masterful CO the whole time, but from what I’ve heard that there was no unification or majority in Congress that was behind this attack. A quick look at the battle’s MPP stacks seemed enough to overwhelm Paraguay, but as it turns out the MPP stack was not in our favor.

MPPs are not useless, that’s not what I’m hinting at at all, but no where did I see our Pacifica allies on the battlefield. I certainly saw a lot of South Americans punching the bag, but I didn’t see the usual suspects from Roc, Finland, Russia, Latvia OR even our newest members Colombia!

What happened?

Our party has speculated, berated and lambasted criticisms, but in the end it won’t make things better for us to grab pitchforks and torches and march to the White House asking for BB’s head, so it seems like we’re all in agreement to look forward and chalk the recent debacle up for historical reference.

I have not written a congress candidate article in a long time, and I blame Plato for that of course, but it was certainly fun times to be able to move to a state and declare that one will be representing a state and sitting around ready to snipe votes to be able to get into Congress. Since the ability to strategize a political insertion was taken away from us, we still have the ability to write what we believe is a reason enough to be selected as a candidate for Congress.

With that being said, I officially want to be one of the SFP’s congressional candidates for the upcoming election and, since I live in California, I will be running for Congress in California if I am selected to represent my party. [/nostalgia]

What will I do for my party and the country?

I admired our recent Congressional member’s abilities to be able to hear our party’s voices these past few days. We griped and groaned and they stuck it out for us. I believe they represented us very well. But I feel they need a leader to follow. We may not have the largest representation, but we certainly are not a quiet bunch. I’m not a person who is usually cool, calm and collected, but I thrive on leading people and welcoming them to the fold.

If elected I will lead our caucus through September’s congressional proceedings with haste, vigor and attention to detail.
I will work with other parties, along with my Party President, to continue an already outstanding camaraderie we’ve established.
I will do my best to ensure that transparency is provided to the party as well as the whole of Congress with how we conduct ourselves in September.
I will do my best to ensure that the Legislative branch is as cohesive with the Executive branch as possible.

We must try to care for each other. I promise to be there if you need someone to lean on.
