And no, if the whole gov gets dismissed by congress, the CP does not have to remove everyone in person, in case that's what you're thinking. Congress has done the job for the CP.

So though this is not your fault, we have no ministers and state secretaries at the moment, so indeed you also lost your position.

CP impeachment does mean the entire cabinet goes away unless the next CP agrees to keep a part of it on.

To be honest. I think anybody that was in Gens goverment. Schould not have any influence of power anymore. She got impeacht and so did her goverment. I do say if this article 12 is real. You have your right to remain seated as prime minister. And if i may ask where do i find this Lawbook? I do not see it anywhere in-game. As for why the trouble to keep yourself prime minister?

first of all, I cannot dismiss myself, theres no button for it. I need an elected CP to do that. Second of all, we need to work in a stable situation towards the new elections. The law leaves this interpretation open, because it states I 'will be dismissed', not that I 'am dismissed'

Why did the CP get Impeachted? And then think why you didnt get "dismissed". Congress impeachted your CP and her goverment with it.
As for as those laws go. thats a nice set of rules. But none of them are in-game and seem useless to me because its external.

The lawbook is used to prevent chaos ingame. If we hadn't those, we would always have a dictator.

We dont have chaos, this whole thing started because there was lack of information. To solve this we had a MoNC against the gov, but no alternative. Very clever.

The law says 'will be discharged'. But its not uncommon that interpretations vary between the party that started this vote and other citizens. I find it funny tho that we place so much value on a vote that had 5 'yes-votes' (only, and of which the majority was from I&W) and none on in-game political titles. How convenient for the party that started this vote, i'd say

all CM's were aware of the debate and vote. if they refuse to vote that is their problem.

sigh in-game titles have nothing to do with it. they are just flavor, that the admins implemented to try and keep the masses entertained instead of working on solutions to the game.

Because I presented Congress and the population a solution, and since this is against your interretation of forum-laws you area against it. Or you are against it because im in DLR Gov, or because its me and you use these rules to be against. Thats also fine. My question is, what is your option and feel free to present it to the public.

There are a lot of solutions proposed in congress. But I don't think we should take a solution which results in disagreements.

Im fine with any option. I just think that seeing how inmportant communication is, we should have this debate in the open.

i'll vote for wlhallah as interim ...... easiest way out of this mess...... and all over that a part of dutch society has the opinion that there's a lack of communication.... pretty sad though...

It's not just the lack of communication. But fighting a secret war, ignoring decisions of congress and not taking responsibility of actions are the reasons to impeach a government. Especially a government which doesn't have full legitimacy of the people.

Just cut our losses & role with the punches, now we look like being a banana republic,..... which is not strange..... with 2 impeachments in less than a month....

I'm okay with what the majority votes...though, I'd like to see a "Vice President" elected if possible. it would eliminate this type of problem. which seems to be happening ever more frequently...

Had het gewoon aan het congres voorgelegd i.p.v. gewoon te stellen dat je nog steeds v-cp bent. Het lijkt nu net alsof je de "macht" naar je toe wilt harken en geeft De La Rey en het congres daar de schuld van.

Het is gewoon een feit dat de regering is afgezet door het congres, en daarna de president zelf. Punt klaar uit, geen spelt tussen te krijgen. 2 votes. 1 opt forum 1 ingame. Daar kan je gewoon niks tegenin brengen.

het IS aan het congres voorgelegd, via het debat op de link. En nu ook aan het echte volk, wat niet in zn volledigheid op het forum komt, zoals iedereen weet.
En om macht is het mij niet te doen. Ik ben niet voor niets recent teruggetreden als Commander.
Ik wil echter wel het ridicule van deze gebeurtenissen aankaarten.

Why was she impeached? I must say, Dutch politics is so refreshing sometimes. I do miss it.

well... in short :
- congress voted against the TW with eBE. but eBE had already proposed us as NE so we kinda went with it and still fought the TW. some people are quite angry with GDLR for not communicating properly with eBE and preventing the NE proposal in eBE. (which i find quite a ridiculous reason for impeachment)
- GDLR apparently didn't communicate much with the rest of the government (which is not a valid reason for impeachment)...
- and lastly "Another problem I have which is more minor is the lack of responsibility taken by the people in charge Gen. de La Rey said it wasn't her war while she is CP and she is responsible." this is simply because it was not her decision to start a TW. if i remember correctly (might be misinformed) this TW was planned by NSSP because of the eBelgium PTO threat.

Kinda failed to mention a couple things, not surprising.
The vote about the TW with Belgium was voted down before the actual in-game NE from Belgium. By the words from our MoD at the time, he said yes to NSPP/Belgium to start the war even though Congress said no. The CP gave free rein for the MoD to do so.
Second point is simply, zero communication, people has to ask why Belgium started the NE. Even during the war there was no information. So a MoNC was started and also served as the base for the Impeachment.

Tim stop making up things, there was no approval given for the war.

I have still not given approval for the TW. Unfortunately our congress have voted it down. The attack on us was early. Who gave you the go ahead?
And war is a bonus in my books as well, however, now everybody is on my back for starting a war without congress approval although I did not.

Yes he did agree with the plan which was very successful mainly as we were able to keep it from the PTO' ers and the Valeyard, however nobody from our side gave the go ahead to continue or start the war. I sent a message to all the leaders including the UK, Germany and Belgium that we would not go ahead without congress approval.

He agreed to it after Congress voted no, and there wasn't much time between the forum vote and the NE. Have you asked their CP or MoD?
