[VP] Term in Review

Day 3,148, 08:48 Published in USA USA by ResouIa

Wow boring term huh? Just kidding, but in all seriousness I'd like to say some things about it. We all went into this term expecting the big resource changes to take effect immediately. I mean, why wouldn't they? Plato never said they wouldn't. But they didn't. With articles and posts everywhere assuming that the changes would be immediate, Plato sat around and never thought to let us know that the eRepublik team had other plans until the presidents were elected and waiting for the challenges to appear before them. Thanks for the efficient communication over there!

Our CP, Yui, came into this term ready to take on the challenges that the new resources would bring. Whatever wars they may bring, whatever alliance shifts they may bring, and whatever anything that may occur. Unfortunately, that has only started in the last week with the changes beginning to roll in. The real changes don't seem like they'll really kick off until this following term though. That's not to say Yui has done nothing but wait however. This term has been busier for the executive than most people would think.

FA. Foreign Affairs. That. That is what this term has been mainly composed for the executive. Pacifica has undergone a many meetings this month that have changes a lot, and we have come out more united than we have ever been because of it. A bunch of us in the executive (a small bunch) have been hard at work making sure America and Pacifica are ready for the changes to come in the eWorld. It's been a crazy term in that regard, and we've made sure to keep TWs going so that everyone has somewhere to fight. Top that off with the Spanish invasion and things have really built up.

Unfortunately Yui ran at the wrong time, but who can blame him? Plato didn't think to tell us our assumptions were wrong. But he's running again, and he's still as eager as ever to lead America through the changes the end of the Resource Wars will bring. After the work he's done this month, I'd say one more term is something we can afford him. He and his team have led USA into a very strong point in foreign affairs. As strong as i think we can get due to what has been transpiring. While some people have been complaining that he doesn't write enough, (something that is not in the job description of a CP) he has been hard at work, doing the things necessary of a CP. It's been a great term to serve in his team, and I wouldn't mind doing it again.

Yui was an excellent CP and I am personally hoping that he wins yet again and fulfills his promise to lead us into these changes. He has shone behind the scenes and I am hoping that with the arrival of the resource wars changes, you all can see him shine the way we on his team have.

Thanks for reading America. And thank you Yui for letting me have a job where I can literally do any and every government job I feel like doing at any pace I feel like doing them at. It's been a great term, and I can't wait for the next.
