In this article, the system behind levels are explained. Included is details on each level; what is unlocked, how much experience points (XP) is needed, and other details. Don’t forget to vote up this article!



Level 1
XP Neede😛 0
Features Unlocke😛 Finding a job.
Notes: The moment you are eBorn, you start at level 0. The only thing you can do is find a job. The first time you get a job, you gain 2 XP.

Level 2
XP Neede😛 2
Features Unlocke😛 Being able to work.
Notes: You reach level 2 immediately after finding a job. Now you can work, which gives you 2 XP every day you work.

Level 3
XP Neede😛 4
Features Unlocke😛 Being able to train (increase military skills).
Notes: You reach level 3 immediately after working for the first time. You gain 2 XP every day you train.

Level 4
Features Unlocke😛 Being able to use the marketplace to buy food and other products.
Notes: Food is essential to your wellness, so be sure to buy food! The first time you visit the marketplace, you gain 2 XP.

Level 5
XP Neede😛 8
Features Unlocke😛 Invite friends using referral link, edit profile/upload avatar.
Notes: You gain 2 XP from looking at the referral link for the first time, and 2 XP for uploading an avatar for the first time. You also gain a treasure map at this level, meaning you get free gold!



Level 6
XP Neede😛 10
Features Unlocke😛 Fight in a battle, use monetary market.
Notes: Be sure you know what you are doing when fighting, or else you might lose a lot of wellness. Many changes keep happening to the war module, and several more are still to come. As of now, you get 1XP per fight, but lose 10 wellness. The monetary market is where you can exchange GBP and country currencies for gold and vice versa. Note that you can only buy gold/GBP at this level. You can reach level 6 on your first day.

Level 7
XP Neede😛 15
Features Unlocke😛 Use moving tickets, request citizenship in another country.
Notes: When moving, depending on the quality of the moving ticket, you could lose wellness. You do not receive any XP from this, but people in the eUK are encouraged to move to London if they are in another region.

Level 8
XP Neede😛 20
Features Unlocke😛 Collect gold from friends.
Notes: If you invite friends, and they receive a treasure map, you will automatically gain 10% of what they get.

Level 9
XP Neede😛 30
Features Unlocke😛 Create a newspaper.
Notes: Newspapers are an important way of communication, such as this article you are reading. It costs 2 gold to create a newspaper, but it’s a good idea to create one if you want to become a politician. Also, people don’t really care for real life articles, so try to keep topics eRepublik related.



Level 10
XP Neede😛 40
Features: Create ads.
Notes: The ads are those things you see to the right that no one ever clicks on. They cost a minimum of 1 gold per 10,000 impressions (meaning 10,000 views). Ads are used mostly for political purposes, and the government might run ads for important information. You also get a treasure map for reaching this level.

Level 11
XP Neede😛 50
Features unlocke😛 Create chat room.
Notes: Here’s the facts: No one creates chat rooms. They cost 10 gold, and no one uses them. Instead, everyone uses external IRC channels to chat. Perhaps you should join #eUK to get acquainted with the rest of the community (even then, #eUK is kind of trollish).

Level 12
XP Neede😛 60
Features Unlocke😛 Create an organisation, create a company.
Notes: Organisations are great to have if you are going to write articles and need an extra vote. They do cost 5 gold to create. If you are interested in creating a company, it is best to create a company in the org. Companies cost 40 gold to create, so it is a risky investment if the economy turns downwards. In a future article, we will cover creating and running a company.

Level 13

Features Unlocke😛 Join a political party.
Notes: Political parties are an important part of eRepublik, as they are the main focus in the political system. They also create a community, with major parties having their own forum subsections and IRC channels.

Level 14
XP Neede😛 80.
Features Unlocke😛 Voting
Notes: In my opinion, voting is the most important feature in eRepublik. You vote is one of the most powerful tools you have. There are 3 elections each month, Prime Minister/President every 5th, Party President every 15th and Congress/Parliament every 25th. You get 5 XP for each time you vote, so that’s 15 XP a month from voting.



Level 15
XP Neede😛 100
Features Unlocke😛 Candidate for Congress, make monetary donations to other citizens/orgs, sell money/gold on the monetary market.
Notes: As mentioned at level 6, you can buy money/gold at the monetary market. Now you can buy or sell money/gold. While you can candidate for Congress at level 15, most parties create a list of official candidates they are running. If you want to get involved, you best join the forums and get involved there. You get 20 XP for winning a Congressional election, and 5 XP for every vote you cast on the country administration proposals. On a final note, you also gain a treasure map after achieving this level.

Level 16
XP Neede😛 125
Features Unlocke😛 Candidate for Party President, create your own political party.
Notes: Want to create your own political party? Well don’t. Trust me, your party will not become powerful, and considering it costs 40 gold to create a party, it is a waste of money. The best way is to run for party president in an already existing party, which costs 2 gold to run.

Level 17
XP Neede😛 150
Features Unlocke😛 Start a resistance war.
Notes: A resistance war is when you start a battle in a region that is occupied by foreign forces in an attempt to liberate it. The cost of a resistance war varies, depending on the population of the region.

Level 18
XP Neede😛 200
Features Unlocke😛 Run for Prime Minister/President.
Whether you call our leader the President of Prime Minister, this is the top position in the entire country. It is unlikely someone will run for Prime Minister at level 18, as the Prime Minister must have plenty of experience and knowledge of the game. It probably is the most stressful job, and considering this is just a game, do you really want all that responsibility and stress?



Level 19

Features unlocke😛 Nothing.
Notes: This is the boring level. Nothing new is unlocked, no treasure maps. That’s it.

Level 20+
XP Neede😛 500
Features Unlocke😛 Nothing:
Notes: All features are unlocked by level 18, but when you get to level 20, you get a treasure map for every time you level up. The highest level ever achieved by someone as of now is level 29. Only one person in the entire eWorld has that honour. Maybe one day (more like several years) you will reach level 29 and beyond.
