[Trekk4CP] Day 2747 Vice President and Chief of Staff

My fellow Americans, and curious bystanders,

On this day I bring you more information about my re-election campaign. As you all will know, I have been Country President over the last two months and I am seeking out one more term from the voters. Together we have had a successful two months on many fronts.

USAF is improving in health every day. We have revived an ever popular Department of Interior program. We have increased our National Media presence and are filling out the department well. We have given new players a chance to be deputies in high profile places. We have successfully kept ourselves out of other countries internal struggles while winning in one war and two skirmishes. It took 7 weeks for me to have to spend any taxpayer month in defense of this country. I have worked with PMUs to start RWs during times where there were low numbers of battles for our fighters. I have even personally footed the bill for a RW to ensure we had a place to fight.

The last couple months have been busy. And next month will be even busier. It is actually to that end for which this Campaign Article is addressed.

I am proud to announce that I have secured two major Cabinet changes. These changes are huge for me. I have a new Vice President and a new Chief of Staff. I wish to thank my current VP and CoS for their service to the country.

The Mike (CoS) has served me faithfully for the last two months. He has done his role as CoS well and that has saved me a large number of headaches. Real life will be keeping his activity levels low this coming month. After a lengthy discussion on the subject, The Mike has asked me to find a new Chief of Staff due to his desire to find a less active job. I have found that replacement. Secondly, SColbert (VP) is leaving my administration as well. Over the last two months he has been a textbook Vice President and I thank him for that. I have also selected a new Vice President.

Now for the announcement of the ages:

My new Vice President will be none other than my soon to be eWife, BeachBunny.

I made the decision to make her my Vice President well before I decided to make her my eWife. For those of you who have never had the pleasure of meeting her, you are sorely missing out. There is nothing this woman cannot do. She is a 16 time congress critter. She is pursuing her third consecutive term as SoH (pending a vote). And she has been a staple at the head of Department of Interior for months, and involved in such programs to help people for most of her eLife.

She brings a high energy approach to life and I fully expect the same attitude towards the chair of the Vice Presidency. I trust in her explicitly. Who could better fill the role of the Vice Presidency than someone directly attached to the President? Not only are her and I in sync in the roles of government, we speak about the country on a daily basis. It makes only sense to trust her with this role and watch what energy she can bring to a traditionally quiet role. She will not be a silent Veep.

With BeachBunny as my number two, you can expect the Vice President to be involved and engaged in the inner workings of the country. With the added boon of her passion to help new players, together we will work to expand the reach of our fine country in aiding newer players to get the help that they need.
Have admired her intensity, intelligence, and follow through greatly over the last two months. If there is anyone in this country ready to make the office of the Vice President shine, it is her.

The other new addition to the power trio is Wild Owl.

It is no secret that Wild Owl and I are close. He was the first CP I actually spoke to when I first hit meta (during his first term, many moons ago). I would query him on IRC and talk to him. It was enlightening and he always showed me respect, despite the fact I was literally nobody of note at the time. I remembered that kindness and have grown to respect Wild Owl greatly. He has been a great mentor to me and one of my greatest allies. He is my eBrother and Best Owl in my upcoming eWedding. There is no one else who can fill any role quite like Wild Owl.

A 5 time CP, and has a resume that makes most people cower in fear at his superiority. He also has been a driving force behind the USA’s (and eWorld’s) Foreign Affair successes over the last two years. I cannot picture anyone better to serve as my Chief of Staff.

He, too, will bring a high level of energy to his job that can only help us as a country.

BeachBunny and Wild Owl are two of my biggest supporters, and I value their loyalty. Moreover, they are uniquely qualified not only for their jobs, but in coordinating with me and anticipating my thoughts a head of time. This will make for seamless teamwork as we lead the country over the next month. It is this teamwork I look most forward to.

That bond aside I would have chosen both for the very same roles, even without the personal friendships. BeachBunny and Wild Owl are the best people for these jobs. Any candidate would be lucky to snag their support.

Now on a personal note:

Tomorrow I eMarry BeachBunny. She eCompletes me. She is my Asuna and I am her Kirito. The wedding will take place in the East Room of the White House (can be found on IRC at #PresidentialWedding). The Ceremony will take place at 1300 eRep time. All are welcome. From foreign Presidents, Dictators, to domestic Party Leaders , and the every man (or woman). This even will be sure to keep your attention. BeachBunny and I wish to invite all who might wish to come. There will be cheesecake, and carrot cake.
