As you know, today admins put a new update.
The new update allows the occupier country to get the 80% of the taxes gathered by the occupied country, while the occupied country will retain only the 20%.

A funny thing with this system is that Switzerland will give 80% of its taxes to Slovenia, and will gather most of its taxes not from Swiss, but from Canadian citizens, accordingly to tax rates decided not by the Swiss Congress, but from the Canadian one.

Another thing, i would say nauseating, is that Romania collects more taxes from Bulgarian citizens, than from Romanian ones:

The update on taxes has been done at the same time with the introduction of the "Freedom Fighter" medal: a medal given to people fighting in successful resistance wars.
Some occupying countries citizens may argue that this situation will:
- encourage citizens of occupied countries to fight more for their congress
- give more resources to people fighting in RWs, making RWs more successful
> What will actually happen?
Actually we will have that for every 1000 CC of taxes gathered by a occupied country, the occupier will get 4000 CC, which must be summed to the money gathered from the occupiers original countries. If now, the difference between occupied and occupiers countries was limited to the difference in production given by resources (a difference of 100% per the same energy), now the taxe update increases the tax advantage to 900%.
You may say: but the Freedom Fighter medal will favour occupied countries?
The answer is no.
2-clicker players have no time to travel the world to fight in RWs, they'll continue to fight once-twice a day for their country and that's all. This will be true for 2-clickers of occupied and occupiers country, with the difference that occupiers will have at least four times more resources to set COs.
Occupying countries, then, will organize "RESISTANCE TRAINING WARS" to avoid that their citizens (2 clickers or experts) will fight against their own countries, or against their allies: they will start RWs in pre-determined regions (except from the 23rd to the 26th) that will be certainly successful because supported by the occupying governments.
Occupying countries citizens will get their "Freedom Fighter" medals, and occupied countries citizens will see their regions freed and, immediately after, wiped again, to let their enemies get the so-called "Freedom Fighter" medal.

The occupying and strongest country, Slovenia, agreed to lose this battle.

People will leave the game in the long run, because soon it'll be practically imposible to liberate a country with all the money flowing towards the enemy and none to little left for actually support wars against occupant countries.
A lot of little communities in the game will suffer by this update.
sure. I know some polish guy already came out to organize a "resistance war" in belgium. don't worry: slovenians and serbs will organize soon "resistance wars" also in switzerland and italy.

Players will look at what's most rewarding in terms of their game time and you looking assuming like this that a two clicker will not move around is a very light assumption. A two-clicker Titan might move around some to up his income, MUs can be formed around liberation and have a good incentive reward for their players.
Perhaps look at it in a couple of months. It's not like there is a huge use to the taxes in the current degree of income of any country. And certainly not worth to pay 40000cc in CO for regions that bring you 10000cc in taxes a month.

i saw the opposite: the more you pay, the more squeezed players are...
In the past months there has been given access to a whole bunch of cheaper resources, I don't see more squeezed out of players. I see an attempt to broaden the paying player base (most likely because they're losing paying customers) but that's another debate.
All I wanted to say is :
1. You can't assume that the new medal doesn't balance the tax system yet.
2. Small countries "tax" income is already under 40k cc a month, the taxes going to the big country occupying isn't going to change their lives.

Look and see how much money is going from Bulgaria to Romania right now.
Romania is more than doubling its tax income taking from the Bulgarian treasury!
Anyway: occuppying countries will organized fake resistance wars to give tons of medals to their citizens: Poland will do one in France, Slovenia one in Switzerland and Serbia one in Italy: everyday 3 successfull RWs for TWO players looking for "freedom fighter"...
Bulgaria under Romanian occupation is not a permanent situation, especially you should know that alliance politics shift when the power is too much on one side.
And at the same time those people fighting in those specific win RWs will not be available to defend key interests of the alliance, diluting the available power in key battles.

As far as I know, there are countries that used to invest their taxes income to sign a NAP and get 2-3 regions and a congress. Now they won't be able to do such a thing, anymore.
Imho, the taxation should've been the other way around. Countries that occupy territories should pay taxes for keeping hold of those territories cuz they bring them resources and better economy. If this was the case, maybe, some countries would've abandoned some regions in order to lower their taxes, leading to the liberation of some smaller countries and communities. But, this is a very bad situation. Some communities will surely die off. Nice job Plankton!

Big question is : What will happen if some state whit 3 region liberated 1 region . How much tax will go to occupier state.

no made my own calcs your correct although think the tracking software has been running only for an hour or so as our income is still at 100 which is a bit low. I would wait a few days for it to run a few days completely.
Suggestion:
All occupied countries should lower their taxes to zero.
(that is if they have a congress)
If they do that, the conquerors could have more pretexts to totally wipe a country and then to make sign a NAP where that country compromise to not drop taxes.

This change is giving the power to one society to humaliate other. Collecting 80% of the taxes of conquered country is the biggest reparation ever payed by a country. We are here to have fun, not to suffer. I'm not talking about Bulgaria, but as general. We are big country and somehow we will manage to survive, but smaller communities won't have any chance. This is disgrace, this is humaliation by Plato to his customers.
