(Swiss Government) Immigration

Day 3,243, 17:20 Published in Switzerland Ireland by OogieBoogie3

Immigration is becoming a growing concern here in Switzerland, especially with talk of the long standing Dictatorship being abolished in favor of a true Democratic system that grants direct power to propose legislation congress as it should be.

But we aren't going to get into that just yet. That will certainly be discussed because there a fair amount of criticism towards the idea, most of which is fueled by fear and uncertainty, but it's a conversation for another day, no doubt. But this topic is certainly related to the abolition of the Dictatorship to some extent.

To begin, it is in our best interest to establish a permanent long standing committee made up of congressmen and other cabinet members whose job is to screen, interview, and either bar or approve future Swiss Citizens. It will be Switzerland's first real immigration and naturalization department that will seek bipartisan commitment and solidarity from all political parties for it to work; we will need the utmost cooperation from congress across all party lines.

It's simple really, restrict who is permitted to become a Swiss Citizen. It's the duty of congress to carry out the deed of citizenship approvals; this committee will be our first real step to true and controlled oversight over their duties.

We do not want potential foreign PTO threats coming into our beloved country. I've seen first hand what a political takeover from an outside group can do to one's sovereignty, economy, and wellbeing; it is not pretty, and we can not risk allowing congress to approve potential threats to become naturalized citizens without an extensive screening process to determine their true intentions. On the contrary however, we do not want to ward away those who seek to help grow Switzerland economically, and seek opportunity for themselves that will benefit society. We want to be decisive, but not too intrusive that we chase away the good apples from becoming good Swiss citizens. If the dictatorship does in fact become abolished, this will be our only defense against potential threats from now on.

It's a hostile world out there, but together, we can help keep Switzerland safe.

Signed, your Prime Minister...

Long Live Switzerland!
