Ok everybody,

In my last poll, someone suggested an interesting idea for this month's bonus section that I thought would be fun. They said that I should ask people who their "dream team" lineup would be for an ultimate Irish government.

Well, you asked and I deliver.

Please use the comments section of this article to nominate individuals for the following "DREAM TEAM" positions:

(1) Country President
(2) Minister of Defence
(3) Minister of Foreign Affairs
(4) Minister of Finance/Economy
(5) Minister of Community
(6) Minister of Information/Education/History

These should be people who you think would be the best person for the job, assuming that they had the time and motivation to give it their all. You can nominate up to three people per position, including yourself. However, nominees cannot be dead citizens and they must have held Irish citizenship at least once in their eLife. It is perfectly acceptable to nominate a person for a position who has never held that particular position before, so long as you believe they would be able to learn if they were given the opportunity.

In addition to a government dream team, just for the fun of it I will also be running an UTTERLY SHAMELESS POPULARITY CONTEST. For this contest, simply nominate up to three people who you "like" as a person. These do not have to be people you agree with politically. They do not have to be smart or competent or productive. I simply want you to nominate people who you think are funny, interesting, insightful, easy to get a long with, and generally make this game more fun to play. In other words, these should be people you would want to have a drink with IRL.

That's it. Any person with two or more nominations will appear in next month's bonus section for final voting. If you don't feel comfortable leaving your nominations in the comments section, feel free to PM me your nominations.
