[SecState]The Balance has been Restored

Day 2,282, 20:21 Published in USA USA by Tyler Bubblar

There has been several articles published lately analyzing the data of the new Alliance situation. ASTERIA vs SIRIUS. We've seen graphs and pie charts. We've seen upbeat propaganda. We've already begun to see trolling in the media. Anyone else miss real war over the last few months? What I have yet to really see is a plain explanation of what SIRIUS offers the eUSA and the larger eWorld. In a wor😛 Balance.

A brief history lesson. Over the summer a world war was fought between TWO and CoT. While coordination and strategy on the part of CoT initially kept things interesting, the massive edge in damage on the part of TWO eventually wore down and finally overwhelmed CoT. We here in the eUSA were in varying degrees of wipe for the better part of a summer. Massive amounts of money would buy temporary momentum in pushing invaders out, but again the damage edge we faced proved too much. Until finally we admitted defeat and cut a deal to end our direct involvement in the war. Not long after CoT dissolved. A few months later so did TWO.

The dissolution of these alliances has caused a reset. This reset has restored balance to the force. While SIRIUS holds a very slight edge in damage over ASTERIA, it's small enough that both groups need to be on top of their game to win. It also means no more long-term dominance one way or the other. Things should be interesting for everyone as every battle has a chance of being won or lost. The pendulum will just keep on swinging.

With the balance of power so even, it puts the onus on coordination and strategy. Granted strategy is not what it once was in this game. However, RW coordinated and started at the correct time, COs set at the proper percent and in an amount that will draw the extra effort, and Priorities set properly across the Alliance. All of these things can win or lose an important campaign. Barring a future shift, no side will be able to simply overwhelm and keep the other down. In short things just became a little more interesting.
