My interview with Irish CP, Daniel.Plainview:
Let's start off with the obligatory greeting. Hi Mr CP. How are you?
I'm not very good at the moment, I have got an essay due at midnight, yet I have a serious case of procrastination so I'm replying to you instead.
Why did you want to be Ireland's CP?
I wanted to be Irish CP to bring a change to the system and to try and breath some life to the internal workings of the country. I was also curious what the CP actually does, turns out it is not much
How do you plan to run things in Ireland; with an Iron Fist or with a Velvet Glove?
I prefer with no glove at all
What do you want to accomplish in your CP term?
Well I would like to keep Ireland in Central Europe for as long as it is feasible. I would like to start a national energy program, I would also like to get a MU for the CP to put CO's up, and to make the national more active through the Ministry of Community. I also plan on getting a throne made out of swords melted by dragon fire...
In all fairness and with much surprise, Ireland's kicked the shit out of Slovenia. What's the next move militarily for Ireland?
Well the next move is to disengage from Slovenia now that we have trolled Colonel Bruce enough.
Do you plan to run for CP again?
I believe that the admins will grant me my wish of abolishing CP elections for eIreland and will declare me Ruler Eternal...
How does Ireland view Asgard?
Ireland still has a soft spot in our hearts for Asgard. Although I hear that Sweden put CO's against our fight with Slovenia, which has caused some to rethink their view of the Northmen. I think it is still unimaginable for most Irish citizens to view Asgard as an enemy, and even more unimaginable to come into direct combat with Asgard. We also still love our Canadian brethren!

Great to hear that Ireland still is Asgards friends.
FYI.
I heard something about Sweden being pissed at Don Croata, for some reason...
In his drunkenness, he proposed an MPP with UK and threatened to wipe Sweden and all of Asgard because a few Swedes were shouting to fight for Slovenia against Ireland. Other Irish players criticized him for his comments and he hasn't brought it up since then.
Re CO's, you should just talk to existing MU commanders that you know/trust, and see how they can help you. No need to melt gold just for that.
