[Presidência] NAP entre Portugal e Espanha – [PT|EN]

Caros ePortugueses,

Dado que o NAP entre Portugal e Espanha terminava no passado dia 10 de Novembro, o Governo iniciou conversações com o Governo Espanhol antes do seu término no sentido de poder renovar o mesmo alterando a sua duração por forma a não afetar governos posteriores, deixando-os livres de optarem por renová-lo ou não, e nas condições que bem entenderem. O resultado obtido foi o seguinte:

-> Portugal fica com Baleares até 10 Dezembro 2015
-> Todos os impostos provenientes das Baleares serão devolvidos a Espanha;
-> Se uma RW abrir nas Baleares, independentemente de quem a abre, ambos os países terão que fazer o possível para garantir que Portugal mantém a região;
-> Portugal não lançará NE a Espanha, nem Espanha lançará NE a Portugal;
-> Portugal não suportará um golpe militar a Espanha, nem Espanha suportará um golpe militar a Portugal;
-> O governo português não colocará CO's contra Espanha, nem o governo espanhol colocará CO's contra Portugal.


Este NAP foi aprovado com a participação de 24 Congressistas dos quais 88% votaram a favor (21 votos num total de 24). Este NAP permite a Portugal manter uma região que lhe dá 10% de bónus de casas e ainda acesso à zona de Itália para ajudar aliados (como fizemos no passado recente). Este NAP permite continuar uma paz com Espanha que mantém em quebra o ciclo de guerras que temos tido de forma constante nos últimos anos.
Dito isto, quero aproveitar para informar que estamos de momento a tentar obter um reset à determinação de Baleares, e é por isso que conquistámos Valência e libertámos Baleares, estando agora na fase de reconquistar Baleares e em seguida libertar Valência. Agradece-se a Vossa cooperação e a cooperação dos espanhóis e aliados de ambos os lados no sentido de fazer cumprir este NAP. Obrigado.

Since the NAP between Portugal and Spain ended on November 10th, the Government initiated talks with the Spanish Government before its end in order to be able to renew it by changing its duration so as not to affect subsequent governments, leaving them free to choose to renew it or not, and under the conditions they might see fit. The result obtained was as follows:

-> Portugal gets Balearic until December 10, 2015
-> All taxes from the Balearic Islands will be returned to Spain;
-> If a RW open in the Balearic Islands, regardless of who opens, both countries will have to do everything possible to ensure that Portugal remains in the region;
-> Portugal will not NE Spain, nor will Spain NE Portugal;
-> Portugal will not support a military coup in Spain, nor wil Spain support a Military Coup in Portugal;
-> Portugal's government will not set Combat Orders against Spain, nor will Spain's government set Combat Orders against Portugal.

This NAP was approved with the participation of 24 Congressmen from which 88% voted in favor (21 votes out of 24). This NAP allows Portugal to keep a region that gives 10% houses bonus and also access to the area of Italy making us able to help allies in need (as we did in the recent past). This NAP allows us to continue a peace with Spain that keeps on breaking the cycle of wars we constantly had in recent years.
That said, I take this opportunity to inform you that we are currently trying to reset the determination of the Balearic Islands, and that's why we conquered Valencia and released Balearic Islands. And we are now in the process of regaining Balearic Islands and then release Valencia. I thank in advance your cooperation and the cooperation of the Spanish and allies on both sides in order to enforce this NAP. Thank you.
