-/On Congress and the DORD\-

Welcome to my first article in V1. Now, I am not going to go into some rant about how bad it is, in fact, I personally like it. Does it have it's bugs, yes, but it is far better than Beta.
The Congress:
Now, onto Congress. I would like to thank or Congress for making the right decision on Roby Petric. I can't believe the guy would leave. But, either way, with what our congress is doing, with the work its doing only two days into V1 to prepare our country for the press release, we made many good choices in the election. Now, this Congress needs to prepare itself for the bills that are going to be coming in very soon. I know that the department that I now work for, the DORD (Department of Regional Development), is oing to need money. Our military is growing in strength, I know personally that I just crossed the 3 strength level today. Our business market is actually shrinkng right now, increasing unemployment and lowering tax incomes to our government. We are headed for some serious problems if something isnt done. I usually fight against more government involvement, but I think our government needs to provide some money to the Raw Materials companies to help then jumpstart, if they haven't already. Welcome to V1, we need to be strong.

The DOR😨
Well, I have been appointed the Regional Director for the Mountain West region. What does this mean for you? Well, the DORD was set up by, our now former, President Roby Petric, to help regions grow their local economies, help cities get hospitals, and help regions with resources expand the use of said resources. I know that my region includes alot of Iron, which I will help develop to provide jobs to the region. So I ask the former mayors of the cities in my region to tell me if their cities needed a hospital, what the major problems they saw in this region were, and what they think I can do to help fix them.

Good Article. As for supporting Raw Material Companies, I would vote yes, However, I am not sure that others would be as willing to give away funding. The owner of the company could take the money for himself if he wanted. I do believe that this could be something worth looking into. Tomorrow I'll post something on the forum concerning this issue and see what the response is from other congressman.

Screw these v1 comments, I can't skip lines. Anyways, the admins have given companies 1000 more RM today to help out until we get stabilized. I hope they do this a few more times until we can actually get on our feet, so our governments don't have to support our companies. There are too many to really help out in a really fair way
