[Official Proposal] Investor's Division - Bank of England

Day 1,881, 12:44 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by John Maverick

Dear Congress Members, citizens of the eUnited Kingdom, residents of our beautiful estates, and friends of the republic,

With the assistance of our Prime Minister, Richard Feist, and the support of our Minister of Finance, Carlini8, I present to you the Official Congressional Petition for the Investor’s Division in the Bank of England.

The Bank of England currently works to protect and increase the federal treasury. To increase our treasury without increasing our taxes, our Minister of Finance invests in the Monetary Market which has shown to be virtually no risk at all with a decent profit margin. Through this process our Minister of Finance was able to create 90,000 GBP last term for our treasury. To put this in perspective, our Call to Arms Initiative was about 70,000 GBP last term.

With a low risk investment it is likely that there will also be a low profit margin. That is the case for our Monetary Market investments. However, by increasing the amount of capital invested you can increase your profits without increasing your risk. Here is an example.
If the treasury invests 10,000 GBP with no risk and a gain of 10 %, the profit will be 1,000 GBP.

If the Bank of England had private investors that allowed the capital invested to be 100,000 GBP, the numbers would change. An investment of 100,000 GBP with no risk and a gain of 10% would yield 10,000 GBP. If 50% of the profits returned directly to the investors both parties would be very happy with their earnings.

Our proposition calls for exactly this. Our Minister of Finance reported, “Basically, as long as I am active and watching the MM there is zero risk at all. ALL of the government money basically is already tied up in the MM, if you check my reports you will see we made something like 90k in 20 days with 1.7M last term”.

Investments are expected to gain approximately 1% each day. The Bank of England cannot guarantee a specific amount since there are fluctuations in the Monetary Market that are not easily predicted. This means that some days the rate may be lower than 1% and others it may be higher. However, the balance of an investment will never be lower than what it was the day before due to fluctuations in the Monetary Market.
The conditions for investing are as follows: Investments may be cashed out at the end of every 30 day cycle with 24 hour notice. This will ensure that the money will not be reinvested when you wish to withdraw it the next day. There will be a penalty for withdrawing an investment before the 30 days have ended. This penalty consists of zero interest gain for the investor and a 5% commission on the original invested amount. 24 hour notice will also be required for early withdrawal.

In a nutshell, the Investor’s Department will increase revenues to the federal government and provide the citizens with more disposable income. By doing this, the federal government will have the possibility to lower taxes, increase funding for programs, or both. This proposal offers a way for everyone to win with virtually no risk.

On behalf of Richard Feist, Calrini8, and myself thank you for reading this proposal. We hope you find our proposition both informative and agreeable.

Sincerely,

John Maverick
