Hello Congress,
this isn't some kind of proposal to join an alliance, this is simply something I'd like to ask your opinion about.

For quite some time we're without real alliance, since Aurora falled apart. The current situation of eWorld isn't good for us, or more precisely our "side". We're still pretty much safe between our friends or allies, but most of our allies are facing serious attacks.

There is absolutely no movement to found any kind of alliance made of Sirius and Aurora members which would face Asteria, there's too much issues between countries like Macedonia/Croatia and many more other smaller conflicts. I simply don't see any alliance which would about to be founded. On the other hand, there is ROOT, to be honest, it's puppet alliance of Aurora without any organisation and made of really weak and unorganised countries which randomely joined that Alliance. Our Canadian friends are too loyal to CUA and especially Argentina, we've tried to speak with them, but there's simply too much issues if we'd found our alliance. They wouldn't left their allies which we dislike and we're not backstabbing type of country which leaves its allies.

Currently, we're not in some dangerous situation, but long termly, we need an alliance, so why not start working towards it?
The only visible, good and stable alternative is Pacifica.

Pacifica members:
USA - Our good ally and helpful neighbour
Russia - Our long time friends who has never dissapoint us
Finland - Our local old friend, ex-Asgard member and country which voted Yes for Ireland in Asgard last time we applied
Republic of China (Taiwan) - Unknown to many of us, looks like a great organised country and could be a good new friend
Latvia - Pretty much same as RoC

I've had few informal talks with most of them and they would all pretty much like the idea to have Ireland in their alliance.

About Pacifica:
It's founded by USA and Russia and it has been pretty much neutral, more leaning to Asteria alliance which takes care of its members, it's actually made by USA to have greater influence, but it really turned out to be a small and stable family. Latvia has many successes as a small country, Finland has successfully defended themselves against all threats, Russia is in a great situation, USA has 15/15 resources, eROC is hitting hard over the night and have a strong country. Obviously Asteria takes care of its members, it provides them safety and prosperity.

What would be positive sides of joining Pacifica for Ireland?
1. We would have their protection, USA is on our borders, Finland is not far away, they are organised and they do take care of their members
2. It's somewhat local alliance, we're few regions away from Finland and Russia, USA is our neighbour, Latvia isn't that hard neither
3. It's stable and democratic, fair alliance in which Ireland would have right to give it's opinion.
4. We'd stay close to all our current allies, meet new friends and once again improve our situation in the world.
5. We would lean towards the stronger side of eWorld.
6. We would be part of something bigger, we would be in focus once again.
7. We wouldn't have many obligations.

I don't really see any cons to this, maybe someone else would realise something, that's why I'm asking for an opinion of this idea. Pacifica really seems and alliance which would make Ireland safer, stronger and more involved. We would make some new friends and keep old ones.
