[NGP] Norwegian Achievement Awards Proposal

Day 2,555, 12:18 Published in Norway Denmark by Joshua Morriseau

Hello to all the Greens out there and of course everyone from all of Norway's other political parties. Today the NGP is following through on its Congress election promise by proposing a debate & discussion on creating the Norwegian Achievement Awards. (Name subject to change.) It was proposed earlier today to Congress but we would like all citizens to take part to let us know what you want to see included in the awards. Below is some of the original text of the proposal.

"Proposal: Create an awards show twice a year, once in January and once in July.

Proposed Categories…

Loyal Newcomer
Publisher of the Year (best news paper)
Lifetime Achievement
Most Controversial Article (or best article)
Viking of the Year (military achievement)
Most Influential Politician
Humanitarian of the Year (helping others, giving food, making organizations, putting others before himself etc)
Hardest Working Politician
Political Fail of the Year
Friend of Norway

Winners: As it is only a bi-yearly awards we were hoping to give out cash prizes of some sort as well as creating medals for people or banners for the newspaper awards so they can use it there. Then everyone else can have medals to go on their profile pics of course and on the forums.

Nominations: So first of course we would call on nominations. We can do it through open nominations by commenting on the article, or private via pm or a survey website of some kind. Then we can list all of the nominees in the 2nd article and have everyone submit their votes privately some how. Then a 3rd article to announce the winners and hand out the prizes!"

Since we have already thought of plenty of categories and there are bound to be more proposals from people we can even rotate or swap categories if we wish as well. I hope everyone will come together to create the first ever awards to recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication and loyalty of our citizens!
