Ministerial updates

Prime Minister/FA - Jamesw:
“CP - Well, this week has seen me have a meltdown, and Wayne's prediction that I would regret putting so much time and effort into things come true for a while. I did consider resigning, and I did consider giving up completely; but I'm over it now. There's planning going through for some interesting things, and it would be great if the whole UK would be on the same page for this so that we can make it stick. But, that depends on whether I can mend relations with Alfa: I'm not so sure it's possible, but, us being on the same page again would be nice. Outside of that, MoDs rewards are going well, but I think there needs to be a bit more of a push, and I'll be making sure that happens later on today. Outside of that, a lot of the Domestics things are labour intensive, so whilst things have been quiet, I'm sure that over the coming days we'll begin to see the fruits of our labour in this respect. Finance remains steady, although the death of the monetary market has long since been known, things are starting to dry up completely. Huey released some figures which showed I haven't bankrupted us, and despite spending a chunk on the Albanian AS last month, we've still got a healthy nest egg, which is now bigger than the nest egg I inherited all those moons ago, so despite all this spending, we're still able to grow reserves, which is cool I guess (but not intentional)

FA - There have been rumblings of things going on, but the main thing that's becoming clear is the divide in Pacifica. Essentially, all alliances have a spectrum in relation to their relationships with the outside world; in Pacifica, they were basically split into pro-Asteria (Russia/Poland) and anti-Asteria (USA/Hungary/Mexico), but since Hungary left, Pacifica basically accepted they needed Asteria. As Asteria has a huge chunk of the US, this has obviously lead to the US wanting this position to be changed; but as things stand, neither Russia nor Poland seem very interested in risking the wrath of Asteria. Poland did reject an MPP with Lithuania, but Serbia, Spain, Romania, Peru and Portugal have all been renewed recently. Russia has also renewed the majority of their MPPs, so it seems the question is if, not when, Pacifica implodes, or the US leaves. There's been various moves to try to snuggle up with Croatia/Greece etc, but I haven't been able to get official confirmation that they're the US Government acting directly; but, if so I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.”

Minister of Finance - Huey George & Spite:
“The MoF has continued with the recording our daily snapshots of the economy eUK to add to the long-term records and managing our Government and BoE Trust Monetary Market Investments.

Iain has also published three useful and interesting article which should be of interest to all with economic investments.

Minister of Defence - Dave Trenga:
“This week MoD announced the Ground Rank up rewards. Battle orders have been releasesd and tried kept up to date. Sunday between 19.00 - 21.00 there will be the national strike”

Minister of Home Affairs - Mr Woldy:
“I’m pleased to say that Sir Jimmy is progressing well with some new player guides on politics and MU’s, which will shortly be reviewed by new players to ‘test’ it’s handiness! Great Scott! Has gone into meltdown as the game approaches it’s inevitable icy end. We are hoping to release a couple of extra games over the next two weeks to engage the public and otherwise will keep working on mentoring and transparency.”
