[MoFA] For the record

Day 2,884, 05:30 Published in Greece Greece by Ministry of Foreign Affairs GR

Following the article of the eSerbian MoFA , we have to set some facts straight.

First of all our dislikement towards Hungary is not something new, and it should not be of a surprise. Countless times Hungary helped Fyrom or other nations including Serbia, Poland and Bulgaria to invade Greece, until the very recent past. So our recent operation to AS Germany and to give to the eGreek community a war to fight and possibly mess with the eHungarian bonuses can only have taken by surprise someone that just entered the game.

Probably, none of these diplomacy experts of eSerbia thought about the actions of their buddies (eHungary) back then, which took place when eGreece was in a very difficult moment not only ingame but in real life as well, due to the fact that Greece was having a referendum, was under Capital Controls and had social & financial crisis. All these played a major role to the temporary victory of our enemies. As a reminder to those who were not here 5 years ago and have no knowledge of how eGreece has treated countries that were in war with us and faced similar situations , when eTurkey received an ISP ban to the erepublik servers that caused them to have limited access to the game, the eGreek community showed its ethics and we proposed a truce until this was resolved because we prefer to face our enemies when they stand on their feet. Couple months ago a fellow Greek player smee was here became the Dictator of FYROM, but instead of hurting the country in an attempt to humiliate the opponent, he protected it. He showed his ethics by giving to the person that the people of Fyrom indicated, the Dictatorship and the rule of their own country.
Despite all of the above and after we countered all obstacles and manage to liberate our core regions, eHungary lost the Saudi regions and we were able to acquire them back and start rebuilding our bonuses.

When eSerbia attacked eCyprus , they did not just started a war against an eGreek ally. Truth is that they tried to expand their territories to regions under the eGreek influence (the same regions that eHungary conquered at the time of our occupation from eFYROM and eBulgaria ). These regions could not provide to eSerbia something they did not have already but it was just an action to provoke us. eGreece considered this to be a hostile action against our interests and our government and took the necessary actions to counter this provocation.

Several days later, following the aforementioned provocations, eGreece signed MPP with eAlbania in order to start fortifying our northern borders with eSerbia. When our allies needed our help we were there to help them by setting CO in one of their battles, while trying to liberate one of their core regions. It is very convenient to omit part of the truth, however some of us do not forget so easily or at least we do not want to present facts the way we like...

eGreece did not initiate this “cold war” with eSerbia as they write on their official article, on the contrary we just helped our allies, as we always do.
The relationships between eGreece and eSerbia may have degraded over the past months, however it was eSerbia that decided to turn eGreece from a neutral country to a potential enemy, and now they made it more clear than ever.

It is clear that the Serbian article, which is full of half-truths and omissions, is just a means of propaganda, to form public opinion toward accepting the new treaty announced between them, eHungary, eFYROM and eBulgaria. Not to mention that eSerbia needs an escape goat in order to shape a common enemy for their “new alliance”.

It is well known, this kind of agreements need time to be organized and signed, so it’s obvious that talks between the four implicated countries either through official channels or through unofficial ones, were in place for some time and it is not something spontaneous due to eGreek airstrike to eGermany and messing with eHungarian bonuses. As the ex-Fyromian MoFa declares in his article, eSerbia pushed hard to accomplish this agreement, resulting in his resignation and their CP being impeached , which proves once again the general attitude of eSerbia to boss around its “allies” in order to achieve its goals as the difficulty involved and time needed to accomplish them.
