[MoD] How you see eJapan in future

Dear Japanese this is an opportunity for you to say a word or two.

Lets talk about our place in eworld. But first be honest and dont answer from your heart -use your cold mind . (In RL my parents are from Serbia and Montenegro but that doesnt mean that asteria/Leto are for me the best possible ally)

We cant do anything alone. We need friends and this is a chance for you to speak up . Now I will try to explain pros and cons for every alliance.

1) LETO

PROS

a)Several of Leto's countries were or still are enemies
of USA. we can make some form of regional pact maybe but is less possible to join their allliance.

CONS

a)Roc -I dont need to say any more

b)Many of leto members dont have theirown congress(Belarus

c)They depend from Asteria's help.

d)If other countries inside leto needs help they may choose -Japan or that other country

2) Asteria

PROS

A)strong alliance

b) One asteria member is close(China) and in any case of trouble they can assist.

c) some of asteria's countries want to attack usa our enemy also.

d)Asteria has borders between members

CONS

a) Its not a compact alliance-some members sings a NAP without a deal with other members

b)China's help is under question -they prefer to stay neutral in many cases

c)They are spliting their strenght in fights with Aurora and Sirius

d)Leto is their subordinate alliance SO WE WILL PORBABLY NEVER EVEN GET A CALL TO GO IN ASTERIA.

e)We must be real and say that Roc as founder of Leto is near in their hearts then we.

3) Sirius

PROS

a) Alliance with no wars-more or less

b) Sirius is closer to Aurora then Asteria= 2>1

CONS

a)They fight in Europe -so no reasons to go in asia to help JaSKo

b)They are in good "relationship" with usa

c) Brasil and usa left them-so trouble in paradise or not ?

4) Aurora

PROS

a)They look like a organise group

b)Alliance with strong countries and with cc for CO

c)Seems that they are using some strategy and every country counts-its doesnt metter how big and strong is-any help is usefull

d)they menage to have a foothold in Europe S America australija and SE asia.

e)In our past we have good relationship with some of their members.

f) Like we They dont like Taiwan too

CONS

a) Can they help us -they have a lot of fights elsewhere

b) Maybe this can activate a internal war in Japan

c) Will they want to activate another front in asia-they have several already

d) We will probabaly involve in other continets also-can we fight in two fronts when we can destroy Taiwan.

f) How will our hungarian friends act on it ?

Now its on to you. If you have more pros and cons for any alliance please write it . This is a debate and use arguments in it -not faul language .

How eJapanese see Nippon in future.

I'm not very informed in international epolitics. But let's suppose we want to join Leto (just and example). How do we know they will say yes? If an alliance don't accept us and we then go with another one to ask for help, it will look like we don't matter who help us because we are so desperate. Maybe this last thing is true, but I think we should choose wisely which alliance could accept us because what eJapan values and not because they pity us.

Reading what you wrote about the different alliances, I think Aurora is our best bet in the long-term. But I don't understand why do you say this may cause an internal war in Japan (like I said, I don't follow epolitics very close). Could you expand on this?

Aurora seems like the only possible solution, since the rest can be considered as SF.
Our efforts on that front should be coordinated with eSK, 'cuz leaving alone could be considered a bit..bitchy.

As someone who's relatively in tune with LETO and its priorities, I can tell you here and now it will not support Japan. While RoC isn't a member many trust or even like, LETO does not want to start an internal civil war over the Japan question. Asteria and LETO are linked, and so if one doesn't help you the other will.

Aurora might be your best option. If I were in Japan's position, I'd contact some of Aurora's top members and negotiate assistance. Otherwise, Japan risks being wiped forever.

The current and just-previous governments have put a lot of effort into cultivating ties with Asteria nations, notably Hungary. The idea is that even outside of LETO we can still make ourselves Asteria-aligned. However, these allies have not been successful in getting Taiwan to release our regions. Even if this diplomatic route did succeed, it would only work for us -- not Korea.

For a long-term independence of both Japan and South Korea, Aurora may be the best bet. There are many countries in Aurora who were our allies in Circle of Trust. I do have personal reservations about allying with Chile which led the exodus from CoT... but, that sort of thing can't decide policy. It is a new e-world now.
