This month there are 2 major candidates that seem to be being considered most strongly, and that I haven't talked to before. So here you are, hopefully 2 interviews, aren't you lucky? Am I not the best? Thank you, I know.

1. Tell us a little about yourself, and about your history with eRepublik.

I'm a Libra, I've seen every episode of Gilmore Girls at least twice, and am a firm denier of Canadian bacon's legitimacy as a meat, let alone a part of the bacon family. In terms of in-game history, I have a lot of it. I first joined the game under the account name of Athanaric. Had some fun, trolled a lot, left the game for a while. Came back on my second and current account, and did some more stuff. And things.

2. There have been some people who have raised concerns over some of your apparent absences from the game during your time here, can you confirm you will be trying your best to limit those in your position of power?

Yes.

3. Your cabinet is both large and varied, can you say who you think you’ll be relying on most if you win this month?

The team I've assembled are all perfect for the jobs they've been assigned to. To say I would be relying on one of them over another would go against the spirit of why I chose them in the first place. They're the right calls, the up and comers. They've shown me a great deal of loyalty and willingness to work; my job as CP is to let them shine. Paul Proteus and myself will be taking great care to make sure that they have all they need to make September a great month. I hope when October roles around, we understand the breadth of quality these players offer for our country.

4. A quote from your recent article promoting your run as CP goes as follows: “I want each of you to be able to look back on the month we just had, smile to yourselves, and say - without any hesitation - that that was one of the best times you've ever had in this game.”, is there any more you can elaborate on this now that we’re closer to the actual election?

I think all of us are here for a reason. We have different goals, different aspirations, sure, but we're all looking to get something out of this game. Whether it's a better social experience, a sense of accomplishment, or a way to escape, each player who is still around is in want of a purpose. But we've traded efficiency for true investment and there's a lot of doomsaying going around about the game dying. If it's actually all coming to an end, don't you want to enjoy it? Life itself is short, and eLife even shorter; I want the time we spend here to have meant something, or at least to be fond in recollection.

5. A handful of people are concerned about your choice of ‘Tenshibo’ as part of your cabinet. Do you feel the need to justify his part?

Tenshibo (TEN'ʃi'bou) noun. - a delightful prankster and curious imbiber of various substances, who sometimes pisses off people who take this game more seriously than it deserves to be taken.
