[LAP] We've Made It

Well everyone, we made it. Soon after formation and with huge support from the nation and our president, Liberty Advancement Party is now a Top 5. The other Top 5, President Josh Frost, DHS, and the individuals in LAP all contributed heavily to this rise. You can read the President's statement on our party here It has been a long time since there was a strong and viable 5th party contributing to the welfare of the nation, and we do not intend to let anyone down. Many people might assume we are simply an ATO measure, or a placeholder waiting for the real movement to step in, but I am here to assure you that we are full of ideas, activity, and hold a strong desire for involvement in this country.

Some of you might be receiving messages from a certain individual promising money to save AFA from its coming death, and I urge you to ignore these. AFA’s death is a result of several things: its failure to adapt, a failure of its leadership to advance the party, a failure to contribute to this nation’s wellbeing. AFA would watch the country burn only to rule over ashes, and we have continually thwarted them and defeated them, and now they are on their deathbed. Let AFA die and let true liberty and achievement flourish. Continue to push the LAP forward and you will see this country start a turnaround.

Will a fifth party solve all of our problems? Certainly not, we have a lot of work to do both here at home and abroad before we can call ourselves truly great again, and is an important first step. It is essential to the continuation of democracy in the United States to re-evaluate the nation’s political landscape and come to the realization that our only way to take control over the entirety of our country is to abolish the idea that we cannot create a 5th party due to inactivity and lack of people. Every day the United States is gaining new citizens by the dozens. Our problem is not the lack of incoming citizens, merely our ability to provide variety and engagement sufficient to retain them. We must bond together by establishing a strong 5th party to join the 4 recognized legitimate parties already operating within our borders. The parties to which I refer are, of course: Federalist Party, United States Workers Party, We The People, and the American Military Party.

By creating a stable 5th party to round out a Top 5 group we will simultaneously be strengthening the political landscape available to American citizens with increased variety; we will also be furthering the friendly competitions present between parties used to create individuality and establish standalone values. The Liberty Advancement Party aims to empower new players and enable them to tale a role of responsibility. By having the interested citizen invest into the party they are more likely to return day after day. By placing them in roles where they may develop independent opinions we are also aiming to create a new generation of skilled leadership able to form vital strategies contingent to the strengthening of the nation such as those decisions around economic development and foreign policy.

In creating a viable 5th party, there is another huge benefit. With our nation controlled by a handful of effective parties no room will remain for the likes of RGR or any other Political Take Over parties like the American Freedom Alliance. Any attempted PTO’s may be quickly swathed by using active members efficiently in a basic Anti Take Over method. In an American free from hectic PTO’s, we can finally loosen our grip on the domestic political scheme and refocus on strengthening national programs and initiatives. We will also enable ourselves to provide American leadership experience on a larger scale towards an often unstable area; the foreign political landscape.

LAP is currently building a lot right now, including forums, an active IRC room, a food program, and other ideas to further our party and its players. We have also begun the process of selecting congress candidates for our first month in the running, so please apply in-game, send a message to irule777 about your intentions, and publish an article about why you want to be in congress. LAP desires to have a successful first month and have a significant number of representatives in congress. Look forward to further messages from me and irule777 on congress and other LAP updates.
