[Jinmin Sensen] Party Elections

Party elections have come around again. It is time to get to know who you are voting for so we can all make an informed decision on who we are choosing as our leader for the next month. I have reached out to each candidate to get a quote about their term as well.

In the order from the official candidates list:

Sterling.knightt
It's still unclear whether he is running to win, as there has been no campaigning and he has not gotten back to me with a quote.

Shirosakura
Campaigning to bridge the gap between both sides of the divide in eJapan and still bring back democracy. While she still wants all of the same things that current Jinmin leadership wants, she is a polar opposite in how the party will go about meeting those goals.
She has written two articles currently, check them out: one, two!

Shirosakura's quote:
"During my month as PP, I plan to make overtures to bring real change to our nation. The short-term will consist simply of citizen-focused programs such as the Culture Day celebrations, weekly kotetsu talks on Discord, and overseeing the expansion of our supply program. But my long-term goal is to foster warmer, more productive relations with the coalition and work towards reforming our government into one that supports the idea of democracy, together. I believe that it is time we set our preconceived notions of each other and strive for a peace built on trust and our mutual love and prosperity of eJapan."


Angelo Sauper
AKA Oni Shinzoku, our last CP candidate and the party president candidate that aligns most with the current leadership. He has been actively managing the MU already and was part of the team behind the last liberation war.

Angelo's Quote:
"As Party President I will change the Economic Policy back to Far-Left Wing. I will stand true to our Democratic Ideals, being active (I log in more then once a day). I have a good idea about our Party base and will put forth active Congressional appointees. I will hopefully get more of our membership into the Commune system and Military Unit."

Kaptain Kidd
This is a candidate running just to protest. You can read his article for the whole scoop.
