Aurora is established as sub-alliance to concentrate HQ power and voting rights within the strongest countries. It's essentially one alliance.

Wow, lots of crap inside and again showing you have no clue on finances. I just hope you ask advice from someone that comprehends matters before acting. I think we all know Weekstrom qualifies for that and i hope he'll be running mof dept. And that you will take his judgment as the truth.
A few reactions from my part first;
Ministry of Markets.
This is bullshit. Garmr is not known (to me) as someone capable of overseeing finances as was proven by earlier supply programs he supported. As for his proposal; It ain't his. It's part of the commune program Weekstrom presented a few weeks back in which weapons would be sold to commune workers for prices lower than the actual costs. Implement that and garmr's plan ain't needed. Garmr could take a role in it of course but that's something else. As far as I know however Garmr has state raw companies that he uses to supply I&W. I wonder who gave permission for that...

Immigration.
I would be against as we have enough problems of our own and the risk of getting people in that cause even more trouble is way to high I'd say. And currently immigration isn't restricted so this is a useless point.

Budget.
Did you even care to do some maths yourself? Even if budget would be 43k (which I doubt very much given our tax decrease and occupation) you're plans don't fit.
You don't think of signing more that 3-4 MPP's who are indeed 10k each as you state. For what? So we can fight from the one province we own? Get real. We don't need MPP's to fight. Locate wise if you want to fight! And an Airstrike for fun? That will cost about 8 times the budget I expect you to have and let all reserves that are restored since you're last CP period and the AS into eCan vanish again. How idiotic would that be? It seems you learned nothing. You did spend way more than we could afford last time and now you plan on doing the same : (

On immigration: you make no sens.
On budget:
eNL sits on a huge growing pot of CC and gold, and basically it's only plan is to increase that by doing absolutely nothing with it, and let everyone in the ecountry die of boredom in the meantime. I'm not a proponent of excessive spending, but I'm not a proponent of excessive saving either.

also you dont make absolutely no sense on state comps of gamr, A. you cant send wrm. B. he certainly isn't giving them out to I&W members... maybe you are confusing Garmr with Zeeuwsmeisje? who supposedly uses state comps for supoprting a private eNL Mu named PG.

Well apparently I have a different view as "nub". So correct me where wrong; Under Garmrs responsibility we gave away weps and food that caused spending more than we gained. Also under Garmrs responsibility we transferred cc into gold at a ridiculous high rate. I call that overspending of which you, luckily, are no fan either. So what's the problem with my comment/warning on Garmr?
And excessive saving? we are not. Our cc still isn't restored as you could have read 2 months ago or so. Our EF is barely above minimum under which it dropped during Aries I. So which growing pot of cc?
Which pile of gold with no plans? There is a big plan for the gold on forum of which i can't wait to be implemented. But like happens a lot no one besides the one that made it seems to care. I don't play a lot and don't have the time nor do i want to spend loads of time on a game but several players do spend loads of time yet fail to embrace plans when it isn't from them so it seems.
As for garmr weps; He shouted or posted he would give weps to I&W members. Not my statement. You can't donate raws but as it's state propeerty he should transfer them to Dave. That's quite easy to accoplish. Or sell the raw comps and transfer money beck to the state. As it is now he's using state property for personal and political gain.

The whole idea of an emergency fund was to use it when needed, which definitely was the case during the PL + Hun invasions we faced when it happened. Please tell the whole story, don't parrot some half-witted propaganda article that Weekstrom wrote a couple months ago.

I don't see how you have anything to say about state property for starters, but how would it mean that because I 'give' weapons to I&W members (I offered a 8 tank wage commune to all NL players for the record) I would use the measly amount of state WRM to solely fund that? It wouldn't even make for 10% of my costs.

I have been MoF and minister of economics when this game had a much more complicated economic module. I oversaw the states vast amount of state companies that ran a profit for our country. My proposal is mine, as Weekstrom's proposals are pretty bad aside from never getting implemented because he writes a wall of text and then has no time to implement it. I don't want to sell to commune workers, the whole idea is to offer inexperienced players a decent market, not to the commune workers.
The abuse of state communes for the benefit of PG is pretty well known, I don't see how you would think I 'supply' I&W members with the raw materials I produce. Raw materials can't shoot. The government's tank companies that are "open for everyone" do produce weapons.

i read "the wall of text" and find it a lengthy, yet clear, explanation on how he thinks it can work. i think he's trying to make us all see why and how it works. Ilike that way better than some other that simply shout something without explaining how something could work. But it's not up to him to do it all wouldn't you say. he has enough on his hands as MoF plus MM manager or whatever it's called.
Apart from that; His proposal asks for an investment after which it doesn't cost anything anymore. Is your's the same or will it require constant financing as with earlier supplies? Weekstrom may be (to) long with text. You definitely are to short. Perhaps the two of you should work together...

What you have done must have been before my time as the economy has never been of any relevance/difficulty ever since I play (nor is the game as a whole). I can not judge that part of you're erep life so I wont. I only know buying gold after prices had risen for weeks is stupid. And buying for higher than 1.000 is an immediate loss given game mechanics.

I don't see that as fact at all. I looked into things because Battler66 much like yourself only seemed to be active to say I am a terrible person and did X and Y horribly wrong. You guys started this game barely 4 months before I quit..

Now if Weekstrom doesn't have time to do whatever is needed as MoF he should take his ego out of the way and step down and let someone with more time implement his ideas, don't you think? My proposal would run at break-even, but realistically there would be some minor positive and negative fluctuations over the months. Supplies aren't meant to run break-even or be profitable anyhow, take a look at how big countries run their military and finance.

As for the gold buying, I assume it wasn't done as part of a project to make money, but to finance the defense against PL/Hun which was done under congress approval, unlike the expense made by our current cabinet to upset the internal affairs of eBelgium through hiring mercenaries.
