[IDEA] Proposed changes and improvements to eRepublik

Erepublik never really thought their political module through. it could have been a lot more engaging / fun module with some very minor changes.
How:
A. Brainstorm laws and proposals.
Here is one or 2 of mine please weigh in :
1. Make the donation cap monthly I will get back to it in 2
2. Propose a budget
This will be a far more comprehensive proposal that requires a Minister of Finance to actually draw up a monthly budget.
Every cent spend or collected will be determined by this budget such as
1. Minimum wage
2. Work Tax rates
3. Other tax rates
4. Donations will now include the option to donate to a country. So instead of manual donations every congressmen will now be able to see how much money is send to a foreign country
5. Donate to multiple organisations. So we will say have a air wing organization etc etc
6. Donate to military units money
7. Determine salaries - minister, congress men and the country president will get a monthly salary. This could be 1 cc for the naysayers
8. Organization /departments will now be a key feature of the game again. All organization will have a monthly budget and all funds not used will be removed from the org at the end of the month and settle again in Treasury
9. Your available budget will be the total of your income from the previous month.
10. All war campaigns must be budgeted in advance
Compiling the budget will lead to a lot more conversation in the threads
B. The end of dictatorship
dictatorship has never been a popular module . It re-enforces clicks and power groupings and it leaves all congress members with nothing to DO for a month so that some powerful tank have all the say with his friends
WARFARE
C. Military Units
1.Military units will now have an inventory and can buy food and weapons of any kind.
2. The commander can determine how much food/weapons each soldier can receive.
3.He can set requirements for collection. For example do X damage in the following battles or a per specie battle say like do X damage for this country in this division.
D. REAL WARS
Unfortunately the game mechanics hinder proper wars. There is simply to much at stake for countries in real wars.
So to change that we change the declare war module.
Upon declaring war a nation must set down a bounty and the other side must accept or counter. This is the amount each nation wager. Then in a separate war room every region of every nation is added to a unconquered region list (1 list) and a second conquered lists (2 lists). All regions is added to the unconquered lists as if this regions belong to no one.
Each day a nation can on an alternating basis pick a region to attack from the regions.
A nation can only have 1 ongoing war and 1 Alliance war I will get to this.
If the nation wins the region then its added to his conquered region list. After all regions have been conquered the winner is basically the nation with the most regions in his list.
These are special campaigns and do not determine ownership of regions
E. Alliance WARS
This uses the same mechanics as 1 but only 2 alliances at a time can participate in this . The alliance leaders besides determining a bounty also determine the number of possible battles per day
ECONOMICS
1. ONLY SHOW HOLDING COMPANY TRAVELLED TO OPTION.
All destinations is still shown if your not in a region or in your residents
but if one travels to a region it only shows the companies in thar region
2. ITERATION VERSUS PULL
The filters simply dont work so filters no longer pull all the companies of a certain type. All companies is always shown in a holding company. If filters the following occur
1. All regions are unselected
2. The program iterate through all companies using a for construct if the company meets the criteria(filter) it is selected
3. if not the company is not selected
Pressing the button would mean only companies selected in is worked in

Unfortunately these are more gimmicks than improvements. I see you are a fan of pre-planning all actions and budgets, but that is not how the game works. Some quick thougts:
1) No need to make donations with monthly cap. It would be 100% better if countries were allowed to start one Donation law per day, so that people don't need to wait until odd hours to start the next law. It does not change much, but is a nice quality of life improvement.
2) Regarding monthly budget, sounds fun, but is rather pointless. All taxes normally are at minimum, donating cc to country treasury is a huge no-no. Returning taxes to country which has daily revenue well above 400k cc via treasury donation is the easiest way to start an argument. Returning unspent cc to treasury is not really possible or wise, as people would just hide it in their accounts for the sake of not having to waste donation law again. Organizations are a tool to keep government money from private money separate, and it would be silly to encourage countries and people to mix them together.
3) Dictatorship, while definitely not the best or most popular module in the game, has its purpose - you can't just create vote accounts in country x to hijack its congress.
4) Military unit inventory.... not really a priority implementation. Would be nice if MU mechanic would be enhanced for more integrated gameplay between players, but its definitely not in TOP10 of must-have updates.
5) Many people would argue that there is not enough at stake to keep wars spicy, as almost everyones holdings are in Poland and it does not even matter that much from personal perspective if your country gets wiped. Your battle mechanic proposal looks way too confusing and not taking into account all the other dynamics that are into play.
My only proposals on the topics that are being discussed about would be:
1) Donation law can be started once a day, not once every 24 hours(the way it currently is)
2) Decimals can be used for work tax(0,1% etc.) and they can be set independently for each industry. It will unlock some of the cc from the large treasury reserves, but the economy is messed up - price of work tickets for Q5 airs or houses can't dictate cost price of food. It should also allow for more variety in economy, as currently there is only one work tax rate that works(1😵, and everything else makes all industries unprofitable.
3) Company work presets would indeed be nice, if you have more companies than you can work in with full energy slot.
