[GOVT] Resource Update

Day 3,144, 17:45 Published in Ireland South Africa by Dante Boss

Citizens of eIreland

Tomorrow we will see the implementation of the new resources. Ireland performed well in the event and scored the following bonuses for the following regions.

Mayo: 70% Weapons Bonus (Saltpeter, oil, aluminium, iron)
Cork: 50% Food Bonus (Deer, grain)

This will see the entire economic landscape in eIreland change entirely. We were originally a food producing nation, but with our new resources, expect a shift towards an increase in weapons production.

As we have always done, eIreland will have a minimal tax policy and Work Tax will remain at 1% and stay at such a rate for as long as we hold office. This provides our producers the ability to work as manager for as cheap as possible and gives workers more cash to spend on the market.

Production is based on the following formula:

Productivity Bonus = Country Productivity Bonus + Region Productivity Bonus + Player Booster - Region Pollution Factor

The Country Productivity Bonus is the sum of distinct industry resources the Country owns.

The Region Productivity is the sum of the industry specific resources available in the region divided by 5.

Pollution Factor is calculated based on the number of goods of the same type that were produced in the region compared to the overall average production for that type of goods.

Putting the numbers into the equation will result in the following:

Weapons: 184% - Pollution Factor
Foo😛 160% - Pollution Factor

Thus, the region of Mayo has a 14% weapons advantage over other eIrish regions whereas Cork has a 10% food advantage over other eIrish regions. This is where pollution becomes an even more important factor.

If weapons pollution in Mayo is 17% while Dublin has a weapons pollution of 2%, Mayo will have a final production bonus of 167% (67% bonus) versus Dublin's 168% (68% bonus). Effectively, it could be more beneficial to consider placing your companies in a region other than the resource region should pollution in Mayo exceed 14% and Cork 10% in their respective industries.

Unfortunately we do not know how much works will equate into what percentage so it is hard to predict and give you an informed guess. But placing them in the region with a Region Bonus is more than likely your best bet as pollution varies between 0 and 25%.

Also in respect to our administration. We are still here, if you PM me with any query, it will be answered.

The whole eWorld has had little activity as everyone waits on the new changes. Our Minister of Community has worked on providing entertainment. Strikes have also been organised.

Whilst the Government has a role in informing and educating the populace of updates and providing community events etc - it is a service that can be provided by every member of society. Every citizen has the capability and the possibility to write their own article, create discussion and encourage their fellow countrymen and women to engage with one another.
Our work is not done. It is only beginning.

Muchos Love,
