[GOV]World at War - Episode 4

Day 1,089, 12:45 Published in Canada Romania by BogdanFV

First of all sorry for not making the article yesterday, I wasn't able to make it due to the fact that I was at work till very late at night. Moving onward hope you find today's article as enjoyable and informative as the first 3. Happy reading!

The war in Spain seems to have cooled down a bit, with Spain recovering almost all of it's continental regions, Brazil only retaining one region in the Iberic Peninsula, the Portuguese capital of Lisbon and France holding only one of the Spaniards regions (Aragon) it seems like today will be the last day when this war is fought on this battleground.

Trying to keep their only region in Spain, the French opened a new battlefield in La Rioja. The Spaniards where not easy impressed by this moved and quickly attacked Aragon trying to eliminate the French presence from their homeland once and for good. Are this the last battles fought in this corner of the world for the next few weeks? Somehow I doubt it but I guess we will have to wait.

Moving onto the other heated part of Europe, Germany attacked the British held region of Lower Saxony and Bremen. Italy was fast to respond and attacked Baden-Wurttemberg.

As it seems Germany is not willing to let the British fight their own wars and are planning to fight Sweden and Poland back on their own. Considering Germany is down to 4 regions and considering the fact that they are currently facing 3 strong enemies (Sweden, Poland and Italy) one would not think that fighting on so many fronts would be a good option. The move made by Germany on Lower Saxony and Bremen could also be explained by a desire from the British to move their attention onto their own soil. Canada is only one region away from a decisive attack on London, an attack that would cripple their plans in Germany before they could even begin.

As this two war-zones calm down a new conflict is getting hoter and hoter by the day. IN South-East Europe the clash between the four EDEN and Phoenix power-houses (Croatia and Romania versus Hungary and Serbia) seems to become more and more interesting.

As the map can show, Hungary is at the moment attacked in 3 diferent regions: Northern Hungary, Southern Great Plain and Western Transdanubia. This war-zone started to boil up when Romania attacked Northern Hungary trying to continue their march through Hungary's original territories. As a response Hungary attacked Southern Great Plain trying to make Romania divide it's forces and and focus. Fellow ally Croatia was quick to respond with two attacks on Western Transdanubia and Southern Great Plain. As hostilities where fast to rise, Serbia responded by attacking the Romanian region of Banat thus trying to force the alliance into splitting their damae even more. As the tensions in South East Europe begin to boil up, as EDEN desperately tries to eliminate Hungary from the map, one only has to wonder, who will be the next country to join this regional war.

I hope I wasn't to boring and that my explanations where easy to read for everyone.

Note: Croatia attacked another Hungarian region: Central Transdanubia. At the moment the only original Hungarian region not under attack is Central Hungary but with a border with the Romanian held region of Northern Great Plain one has to wonder, how long will it take for EDEN to move onto Budapest?

Note 2: I was right, it didn't take much. As I am writing this EDEN is bombarding Budapest. Central Hungary is under attack and as it looks right now, Hungary and Phoenix won't be able to hold the front for much longer against CROMANIA.
