Ahoooooy everybody! Azusa-san here, your empress! This month is really special, it marks the fourth year since Empress Day was created by your current country president. I’m so happy that I get to make the speech for such an amazing occasion... but how about I just play you a song? (mumbling) I’m much more comfortable this way...

After oversleeping, I come in late, rushing into the classroom "You change your image?" I realize I'm being asked I had no time so I decided at the last minute to leave my hair down. Today's me is a different version, though it looks just like a Japanese doll. Whenever they say, "is that really you?" My chest feels ticklish, like my heart is giggling. Hanging out, changing myself just by simply having the chance to, maybe these things are super simple!? My style, my territory, are these things important enough to protect? Without samples or rules to go by I'll live today with all my might! During class I accidentally passed around a note with a numbered list of things to do on my way home. What about a place no one knows about? There's a little-known sweet shop if I turn around and head back that way. My heart pounds in excitement, meeting by chance, finding it. Perhaps this is the result of my flexible choices!? I want to take the long way with everyone going home, going this way and that, talking as much as we like. Filling my heart and my stomach, smiling, being happy... They're things beloved to me, unbelievably precious to me... I'll become a person that's big and kind, so much that they'll say, "Is that really you?" I'm still small, but I'll let you hold onto that dream for this happy moment. Thank you for this joyful today!!



I have some auditions lined up this month, so I won’t be able to stay with you guys much longer but I had lots of fun! Hope you all enjoyed my song... now.. go nominate new empresses!

Since it’s the fourth year anniversary, lets make this empress day very special with lots of campaigning and nominations. I will reward people who campaign and/or nominate with some additional weapons whether their nomination wins or loses. Just like the ‘Yes we Nyan!’ Campaign stuck, I hope we get some more like that for other characters.

Rules

1a - Anyone with access to the MoCH forum has the right to nominate 1 (one) candidate for empress. All nominees should be a female humanoid. If you wish to nominate a questionable candidate, please present a public case as to why you believe they are acceptable on the forums to the MoCH before making your nomination. MoCH staff reserve the right to determine what candidates qualify for the competition.

1b - Anybody with Japanese citizenship has the right to vote via ingame PM to the event organizer.

2 - All nominees must be from an Anime Series (OVA/OAV, movies, ONA, tv series), a Japanese Video Game, or a Japanese Manga. Please no Hentai/Porn. Again, even if a character does not fall into this category, MoCH staff still reserve the right to determine what candidates qualify for the competition.

3 - All nominations must at least include a name, image, and the name of the media (series, movie, manga, game, etc) the nominated character appeared in. Please do not post images containing nudity. Additional information regarding your character is welcome. Please bear in mind that any of the information given in your nomination may be placed in any future MoCH publication or posting.

4 - All nominations must be posted in the nomination thread in the national forums.

5 - No previous elected Empresses can be nominated for a 2nd term. However, Royal Ambassadors, or previous runner-ups for empress can be re-nominated for a chance to be Empress. They can continue to be renominated indefinitely, regardless of how many times they have been elected Royal Ambassador unless they are elected Empress even once. Following that election, they are permanently disqualified from running.

6 - Empress Day Nominations will begin today, eDay 1,969 at 09:00 ET (eRepublik Time)

7 - Empress Day Voting will begin immediately once the nomination period is over(about 96 hours) at eDay 1,973 at 09:00 ET

8 - Campaigns for specific nominations are allowed, but the MoCH will take no part in the campaigns. However, the MoCH will post content from each nomination in a uniform format in a future voting announcement article.

9 - The person who nominates the winning Empress will receive ¥1000 and the remainder of the MoCH's miscellaneous inventory and donated for this month. The runner up will receive ¥500.

10 - The Minister of Culture and History reserves the right to change these rules at any time. The MoCH also reserves the right to disqualify nominations if rules are broken or if any questionable matters arise.
