Hello eIreland,
I will do everything in my power to see the Irish population in harmony.
Party President Elections
Yesterday was the election to choose the new party president. However emerged a candidate who wanted to be elected for any cost, as you can see below, I received an offer of the same:

I get really upset about it because we live in a community that our ideology is respected and which methods do not fit well with the character of the Irish people. I would talk to this guy, if he really wants to reach the presidential chair, must change their attitudes. So you will not get anywhere. I would like to thank all the friends that prevented it to happen, I really do not want to imagine where it would stop.

Weekly Article
We will be launching a weekly article about our older members, about the current situation, military, economy and politics. Next week I believe there will already be an article interview with our old members, I'm hopeful with these articles.
Despite the incident, I am happy with this win, and I hope that our party will continue going well. Thank you all for the opportunity, now to work.

Sad to see Irish William Wallace joining right before our elections and trying to bribe his way into power. That's completely outside what's accepted in eIreland, and it's 100% against the values of EA.

also mikebane if indeed you want a final hurrah before you close your account your more than welcome to join my party become party president and recruit members in any way possible. after all dont think it will hurt the country as most parties except ilp is orcs. ian passmore is inactive but perhaps we can push independent voices or other parties out of congress thereby creating enough support for different cp and cabinets.

It totally is fair because I give them a choice whether or not to take it. If they took the bribe well than that would have been dirty of them, but to offer a bribe isn't that bad. Sorry I wanna give away gold and they return the favor 😛

If you send someone else a pm it belongs to them as much as it does to you. Keep private what you wish to keep private.

And I'm against sharing PM's anywhere. Why?

And as it's politics - even here in Ireland it looks pretty dirty. So I won't trust any screenshot published in any article.
Its not politics asking players act with a bit of integrity, Bick. Wasn't the EA members who joined the party right before the PP election deadline, run for PP and offer gold for votes. This is the same guy who tried to corrupt a community survey.
Nothing dirty about EA's conduct in preventing an aggressive attempt to take over the party by dubious means.
I can say I read Bill's article and he did offer a bribe in his own article. He offered hundreds of gold to divide amongst the party members if he should win. I can't speak to the PM to Rafaia, but given what Bill was willing to publish, I don't have a reason to doubt it.
You are right... politics here have gotten very dirty, indeed. Party hitmen have been sent out to attack from "outside the party" to veil some plausible deniability. There is extremely dirty tactics at play these days.
One side plays fair, and thus their opponent's articles are full of supportive "good job" "good luck" comments, which gives the appearance of harmony. Meanwhile their own articles get assaulted and undermined to give the appearance great discontent. It's low... it's "Fox News" low. And the resulting facade created in the media is a complete lie to fool the 2-clicker.
I wish that all sides could just agree to fair play, and have genuine discourse, not sabotage. One side does not sink to the low tactics employed by the other, and thus they continue to be victimized. Integrity continues to be exploited, and punished. I wish honesty, and courtesy was rewarded... but, it's not.
