DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION PRESS RELEASE

Hello America,

In this edition of Education Today we will discuss the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).

The Congressional Budget Office is an organization belonging to the government of the United States of America. The CBO is used to distribute American tax dollars as directed by the Congressional budget, to eUS government funded organizations, such as Meals on Wheels, and individual branches of the eUS Armed Forces (Secretary of Defense; USAF MU).

It was founded in 2009 by long time eUSA citizen OneEye.

The Congressional Budget Office was created early on during the presidency of scrabman. scrab wanted to return the power of the purse to the American Congress, who had before that simply donated the income generated by taxes to an organization controlled by whoever was the United States president at the time. However, scrabman believed his predecessor, Uncle Sam, had misused funds entrusted to him by Congress, and wished to give Congress more power.

Since the CBO's creation, OneEye had been it's operator, distributing funds to wherever Congress votes that the money goes. Today, there is a current list of Directors that manage the CBO: Evry, Publius, and GoalieBCSC that serve at the will of Congress regarding all expenditures. Under the Official Constitution and Code of the eUS The Congressional Budget Office shall be overseen by the Director or Directors of the Congressional Budget Office. These Directors are selected by simple majority vote of the current Congress, and remain in place until their removal or resignation. The Director or Directors of the Congressional Budget Office can be removed at any time, and for any reason, by majority vote of the Congress.

The CBO is also involved with the Select Committee of Intelligence. The SCI shall be staffed by The President (Country President ie CP). The Committee must include no less than 5 current Congressmen and the CBO Director(s), as well as the Speaker of the House, or Deputy Speaker of the House, or their acceptable representative, if either can not pass security check. The President or the Secretary of Defense must attain 5 approvals from SCI members before spending any reserves except in an emergency, which only requires 3 approvals. Information provided to the Select Committee on Intelligence should be as detailed as possible. Insufficient information may be grounds for disapproval of the funding request. reference

With that said, we want to thank you for reading this special release and we will appreciate any suggestions you have for us. You can send those through PM or you can do it in person on IRC in #eUSA-DoE.

Sincerely,
Department of Education
