[DAF] The Sword of the Nation / het Zwaard van de Natie
Walhallah
Dear reader,
Im proud to announce an improvement to DAF. We have debated a about this and have come to the conclusion that for the time being our MU should be organized along the following lines:
there will be 6 regiments. Starting from scratch, a new player will join and automatically end up in regiment 1.
Once activated and motivated and avatared up, they will be moved to regiment 2,3,4 evenly.
Players that enter D2 will go to Regiment 5 and Div 3 and 4 will be in Regiment 6.
That way gives us slightly better management options for the higher divisions, also because it allows us to place a Captain there from their own ranks. The whole structure will be surrounded by the strict, yet caring hands of highly respected and experienced players.
The Captains will be appointed based on activity and merits.
All Captains and Commanders will be the daily management of the MU and discuss pretty much everything about the goals and course of DAF.
To sum up:
Regiment 1: Div 1; new players; Captain/Motivator: ElGorro (2nd Commander)
Regiment 2: Div 1; Captain: tbd.
Regiment 3: Div 1; Captain: tbd.
Regiment 4: Div 1; Captain: tbd.
Regiment 5: Div 2; Captain: tbd.
Regiment 6: Div 3/4; Captain: Weekstrom (2nd Commander) (the sharp point)
To give you a simple graphical impression of this organization, we present you:
"The Sword of the Nation"
These changes will soon be implemented, partly before the tournament, partly after.

isn't it generally the other way around? mean the first div is the point?
i like the concept though, nice flow through

is there a way div 1 players can climb higher up from regiment 1 to regiment 4 ?
Yes, after Elgorro introduce them in our community, and when they get basics of game, commanders will remove them in regiment 2-4.
It means that first regiment will only be opened for newest players and as soon as they know how to play we will move them forward so we do not spam first regiment.
Main goal is that first regiment has less then 30 members because in that case when new player join he will be automatically in second regiment.
Principle is clear, new players will be in first regiment and everyone is feel free to contact them, or to help them ( even players which are not members of DAF ).
