[BC/UKPP] Party Conference & Congress List Nov14

This month’s UKPP party conference occurred on IRC, with a small but loyal group of members spending their Sunday evening talking about matters arising in regards to the party. The following is a list of topics discussed and their outcomes:

Congress elections
After a new voting system (close to AV/AV+), we had a great turnout of both congress candidates and voters. Each player had three votes, which held different weightings. Out of all those who asked whether they like the new system, 95% of members stated they like it. Two votes were disqualified for the following reasons; one was a duplicate entry and another had no name stated. The votes and listing for this congress are as follows:
Please note that due to region losses, the list is subject to change. As I can’t add people back on once they have been knocked off. We did have 20 candidates this term, and 6 were knocked off in last night’s region losses. It’s likely there will be more.

CP candidate
It was voted that the party would not seek a CP candidate this term as there was a large amount of work needed to rebuild the party. A party wide vote nearer the time if an outstanding opportunity or candidate presented themselves would occur if necessary.

Membership drive
The party would continue its membership drive, with the chief help of Membership Officer, Pannonian Nomad. Other efforts will be made to increase active members in the party.

AOB
It was raised by members that private messages should also be used in the future to ensure better advertising of the conference.
Many members expressed a desire to bring the RAF back into the UKPP sphere, restarting supplies, etc. A team will look into the possibility of this.
