إن آفاز هي حركة عالمية على الانترنت تهدف لتمكين سياسات الشعوب من صناعة القرارات حول العالم.
تم إطلاق آفاز، و التي تعني "صوت" بعدة لغات أوروبية و شرق أوسطية، عام ٢٠٠٧ لتحمل مهمة ديمقراطية بسيطة: تنظيم المواطنين من كل مكان كي يتمكنوا من المساعدة في ردم الهوة بين العالم الذي نعيشه اليوم و العالم الذي يريده أغلب الناس في كل مكان.
تمكن آفاز الملايين حول العالم من اتخاذ اجراءات حول قضايا عالمية ووطنية ومحلية، من الفساد إلى الفقر إلى النزاعات وتغير المناخ. إن نموذجنا التنظيمي عبر الانترنت يمكن الآلاف من الجهود الفردية، مهما كانت صغيرة، أن تتوحد وتصبح قوة جماعية مؤثرة. (اقرأ المزيد حول انجازاتنا على صفحة أهم الأحداث)
تقوم آفاز باطلاق حملاتها ب١٦ لغة، يقوم عليها فريق ممتد في ٦ قارات، إضافة إلى آلاف المتطوعين. نقوم باتخاذ الاجراء المناسب -- من توقيع العرائض وتمويل الحملات الاعلامية والاجراءات المباشرة وإرسال الرسائل الاكترونية لحشد المواقف أمام الحكومات وتنظيم المظاهرات والفعاليات -- لنضمن أن آراء وقيم شعوب العالم تؤثر على القرارات التي تمسّنا جميعاً.
Avaaz is a global web movement to bring people-powered politics to decision making everywhere
Avaaz—meaning "voice" in several European, Middle Eastern and Asian languages—launched in 2007 with a simple democratic mission: organize citizens of all nations to close the gap between the world we have and the world most people everywhere want.
Avaaz empowers millions of people from all walks of life to take action on pressing global, regional and national issues, from corruption and poverty to conflict and climate change. Our model of internet organising allows thousands of individual efforts, however small, to be rapidly combined into a powerful collective force (Read about results on the Highlights page
The Avaaz community campaigns in 15 languages, served by a core team on 6 continents and thousands of volunteers. We take action -- signing petitions, funding media campaigns and direct actions, emailing, calling and lobbying governments, and organizing "offline" protests and events -- to ensure that the views and values of the world's people inform the decisions that affect us all.
Avaaz es una comunidad global de movilización online que integra la acción política impulsada por la ciudadanía dentro de los procesos de toma de decisiones globales.
Avaaz, que significa "voz" en varios idiomas europeos, asiáticos y de Medio Oriente, nació en 2007 con una misión simple y democrática: movilizar a los ciudadanos del mundo para cerrar la brecha entre el mundo que tenemos y el mundo que la mayoría de la gente quiere.
Avaaz empodera a millones de personas para que tomen conciencia y acción frente a temas urgentes de interés internacional, regional o local, desde combatir la corrupción, la pobreza y el conflicto armado, hasta la lucha contra el cambio climático. Con campañas en 15 idiomas coordinadas por un equipo de profesionales trabajando en 6 continentes y voluntarios en todo el mundo, los miembros de la comunidad Avaaz emprenden distintas tácticas y acciones - firmando peticiones, financiando campañas en los medios, enviando mensajes, realizando llamadas a funcionarios de gobiernos, y organizando protestas y eventos offline - para garantizar que las opiniones y los valores de la gente sean tenidos en cuenta en los asuntos de interés público que nos afectan a todos.
