[Ash] Vote of Thanks and Updates

Dear all,

A very warm season's greetings to everybody and best wishes for a superb new year and a rocking party tonight! (wherever in the world you are)!

this is a pretty simple article, yet another "round-up" of events, policies and general info tid-bits.


First things first, a long due vote of thanks





Let me begin with a HUUUUUUUUUUGEEE THANK YOU!! to our dear friends from Tzar Samuil Military Unit - Bulgaria. For those newbies who do not know them, they are the ultimate friends, the rare genuine players that are hard to find. Just thanks is never enough for their selfless contribution and India as a whole salutes them.

I would request all Indians to contribute in whatever small waythey can, with food, currency or weapons, of their own individual will/desire to one of the greatest MUs the game has known as a vote of thanks from India. You can donate to malion who is the leader of the MU.

While at it, we need to acknowledge the efforts of the most silent President (in terms of media) we have ever had - windfall 😃

He is the mostunderstated guy with no ego, no problems with anyone and just keeps himself busy and active behind the scenes on IRC, organising wars, battles and pure excitement all on his own!

He may not say much but he has been remarkable and curiously enough he is one of the rare Presidents (that we have had) who is also a monster tank!

At the same time there is yet another mad Scot who has been furiously tailing windfall 😃 yep, we all know him - Hamturk. time to applaud his unceasing efforts over the past months/years... one of the numero uno warriors of eIndia, THANK YOU for being a part of us all o7

The battle for the top spot between windfall and Hamturk is balanced on a knife edge and this month will probably see the keenest fight ever between these two stalwarts. I await the final result!



Now onto other matters...

FOREIGN AFFAIRS

I must admit I have been the worst MoFA in ages 😃 I haven't really gone ahead and tried to parley with alliances or secure deals or MPPs, but that has a dual reason.

a) Close battles won and lost against Pakistan are boosting our activity and the current status quo is good for looking to bring in new players.

b) Our citizens themselves are unsure of the direction to take and I have been waiting and watching how things are working out. I believe we now have a hold on the foreign policy to follow and I shall be updating all citizens in the next couple of days with the most prudent approach. Till then, we can always count on our friends and our reserves to take the battle to the enemy 🙂

FINALLY, this is something very interesting I came across, thanks to New Faustian Man. It is a list of known scammers of eRepublik and I would request all citizens to keep track of this spreadsheet as it gets updated.

That's about it from my end - my last article of 2013 - once again wishing all ingame allies AND enemies a wonderful New Year in Real Life 🙂 cos after all, REAL LIFE matters and we are all the same beyond this screen 🙂
