[ADP] New PP - thanks everyone - Whoo hoo!

Greetings Australia!

Today is a very proud day for me as I see for the first time in my life I’ve been elected to do something.

You fools – you absolute fools!!

But seriously, it’s an honour to be voted in as President of the ADP. This party has had some extraordinary leaders in the past – legends of the game – and I just hope I can contribute half as much as they have to ADP and eAussie life.

Thank you Icetek and dullagamur for standing as well - it's great to see multiple folks putting their names forward and I look forward to working with you and all members to push the party on.

To business…

What am I going to do (in the few brief days before power corrupts me and I change the party name to the Mongoosier Party and start executing other members for not being on-message, etc. etc.)?

Well, this party stands for three things.

Sexiness – our former Dear Leader, Dr Hugh Jardon built this party on that one fundamental dream. So, Hugh – in your honour, sir, I give you, this:

Secondly, for the ADP Free Food drive – each Wednesday of my term this will be running. Er, slightly Yoda-esque syntax aside, this is way complex so pay attention!

1. You must be in the ADP to take part

2. You must comment on the ADP Free Food Drive type article that comes out on a Wednesday

3. You will receive 200 Q5 foodstuffs for your delight and delectation

Shut up. I know.

This will continue throughout my term unless or until I go bankrupt.

And thirdly, and this is probably the serious bit, for bringing on young [as in game age] players into the murky world of eAustralian politics.

There are loads of places to get involved – whether at party political level, running for Congress or in Government.

We don’t throw people in at the deep end (much, JackTrout might call me out on that assertion!) but we can try and get you onto the team, with proper support, to start learning and helping eAustralia grow – and believe me we need all the help we can get at all times.

You don’t need much or any game knowledge for this – I know literally feck all and I now run the biggest party in AU in terms of membership so go figure 🙂

This game can be confusing, boring, silly, frustrating on occasions - especially in a small nation like ours – but the more you give to it the more fun it becomes. So get off the sidelines you sexy ADP members and PM me to find out more about how you can help.
