[A Little More Raw] First Lady Clorofila Part 1

Day 3,058, 17:06 Published in Norway Denmark by Joshua Morriseau

I am happy to bring back my old interview series (A Little More Raw) after being inspired by the recent interview done by Zinitus featuring our President Yanisin. So I figured who else better to interview than the wife of our CP and the very first First Lady of Norway Clorofila!

This interview will be conducted in three parts. Part 1 will focus on her past, Part 2 on her present and Part 3 on her future. I look forward to giving you all a glimpse into the glamorous life of the First Lady of Norway!

1. You have held 21 citizenships in your time here in the New World. Can you tell our readers which country was your first and what originally attracted you to the game way back in October of 2009?
I must say that there are a couple more from your last account. 🙂
My first country overseas was Belgium. Another player persuaded me to go there, and belgian people seemed funny, sociable, open minded. I made good friends in the belgian IRC at that time, where people easily changed speaking from french to english to german. From that time i still talk, from time to time, with mittekemuis and MaryamQ.

In October 2009 V1 was fully developed and you had all modules at display, everything seemed a challenge worthy to face and dig into. I played hard in politics and military modules at first.

2. It seems you have been using/creating music to express yourself in eRepublik for sometime, at least according to this article. Why have you decided to merge music and eRepublik together during your time here?
Well, I am musician in real life, so it was natural for me to share what I do. I have arranged new versions of known songs with eRepublik lyrics, like Gold is always changing me (Cyndi Lauper song was Money changes everything), or Gimme tha powa (originally composed by Molotov, I played my own version with eR lyrics) and other songs were originally composed for eR, like Tengo Gold (I have gold). I even composed songs for friends, this one was for Profeta Eric and his MU Profeta de Albatros.

Some people started to feel identified with my music, so I kept on doing it. The only difference with RL is that I don’t work hard on the sound mixing and mastering after recording, I do the basics there ←- guilty face hahaha

3. Of all the nations you have lived in can you tell us which has been your favourite so far and why?
Can’t choose one… (you can cut the answer here or copy below haha)
Argentina: is my homeland, no matter how screwed or divided we could be, I always come back, my friends poke me, and drag me to return (like candymanson)
USA: I made a lot of friends, participated in politics and learned a lot of things in military from Marines (HisAirness) and Airborne (Cyber Witch) .
Mexico: i developed my interests in culture and journalism there, while participating politically. I am still in contact with some people from there.
Uruguay: felt like home, very funny and cheerful people when i was there to help a little (my friend metal reloaded call me to arms there for a tournament, he had an uruguayan MU)

UK: no stiff people at all, i joined Royal Army Dental Corps, they were hilarious, their articles were daring and sharp like knifes at times. FragUK remains a good friend no matter we are in different sides, we display good humor anyways. Meanwhile i shared MoFA duties besides Kravenn, who I respect and feel sincere affection.

Canada: they pushed me to mingle and they open their doors to work side by side with them. I participated in politics. They were so amusing guys and so practical when it came to make decisions.

I have a lot of gratitude to Rumania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania and Cuba, for different reasons. The other countries received me but I wasn’t able to enter in their hearts to participate more, I think, even though they showed me respect and friendship.

4. You have lived your eLife it seems on many sides of different alliances. Do you still have loyalties to any of them?
Asteria is still in my heart. I was part of the HQ not long ago, and I have a particular weakness for rumanians and serbians, I feel them like brothers, it’s beyond explanation. Very hardworking people (turturica, CornelB, Bogi, to name some of them).

I still remember when I started to travel to non-EDEN countries, many friends were very annoyed and stopped talking to me for that reason. Some of them now, older and wiser, have started talking to me again. We, oldies, are so few, at the edge of extinction in eR, we gather to retell our memories and to encourage to each other.

In general, i am known for how i behave when i am with a CS where the country belongs to a different alliance. I always fight for that country and its allies, but i cannot fight against Argentina and some other countries very close to me.

5. On Day 2,963 or just 94 days ago, you released an article claiming that 6 years was enough for you and that you were officially packing up your guitar and leaving eRepublik for good but yet here you remain. Why the change of heart?
hahahaha yes I was on my way out but a delightful guy mesmerized me and stopped me before i logged out. We both know that I am talking about Yanisin. I felt down and with no purpose in this game. We talked a lot those days when i was about to leave. Yani and I share the idea of finding those persons with certain traits and particularities, mainly with social, cultural, artistic skills. We want a better eWorld meanwhile eR developers think of how improve the game. Yani gave me shelter and in many ways he understands me (I am a freak, indeed).

6. You have been in the game for many years and have made many friends here. What was one piece of advice you have received from someone else in eRepublik that has always stuck with you?
It´s rare because i forget it´s a game. And that’s the advice: if it doesn’t amuse you, log out and come back later with a fresh mind or just forget it. I take it much too personal sometimes. I haven’t succeeded in taking it less seriously, even when I have a life beyond this game hahahaha.
Here you can find some events, that could give an idea about my journey in eR http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Clorofila

7. Do you have any regrets in the game, if so can you please describe?
Not regrets, but doubts. I have given so much, not only my time, but helping financially (gold means RL money proceeding from my credit card) and no gratitude received in return… I learned to hold back sometimes.

I have trusted and given my affection to people who didn't treat me that well. But I am an adult and I understand that people sometimes do things while they feel saved and emboldened behind the screen. Anyhow, nothing to make a novel or a soap opera about it, just penny dreadful stories, worthy to bury in the past.

That concludes Part 1 (The Past) of our 3 part series on the Norwegian First Lady Clorofila. If you liked what you read please be as kind to share it with your friends! Part 2 should follow once this article runs its course in the media.

As always don't forget to V,S,S&E!

Kind Regards,
