Yet Another Presidential Article

Dear America,

You are probably getting tired of reading these now, what with it being campaign season and all, but I hope you'll take to read one more boring Presidential article- mine.

It's funny; compared to my first four terms as President writing the articles for this race has been much more difficult. I suppose that would be somewhat obvious since my articles haven't been giant sized pictures of my cabinet members accompanied with descriptions of their various accomplishments (of which there are many), and more on words. Now that I'm running again over a year later, I've found the process has changed quite a bit as well. I don't have an art guy or a campaign manager or even an IRC campaign room. It's just me, a team, and a plan.

When skimming through the responses to the above linked application I found my inspiration for this article in one of the submissions. It said that the reason the individual was applying to me was that they felt my articles showed more "direction" than the other candidates.

And I thought... that's nice.

Direction.

Something we haven't had too much of as of late.
