World in Flames (as usual)

Day 1279

North America
With Spain’s final expulsion from North America (except Indiana... but c’mon lol@hoosiers) the only battles taking place in North America, are those between Mexico and the United States. The United States has been able to dominate Mexico in almost all of these battles. Without support from ONE, Mexico has no real chance. And with the invasion of America over, ONE has turned their attention elsewhere. This has allowed America to keep Mexico under control, and insure that the American companies have access to a Mexican Rubber region.

Owned.

South America
With Spain being kicked out of South America, and with Poland being thrown out as well, this is the quietest region in the world. The only interesting thing is Chile flirting with New Zealand.

Western Europe
After having been beaten badly in both North and South America, Spain was pushed back by the combined Forces of Eden and Terra. America and Brazil led a double pronged attack that completely overwhelmed the Spaniards. At one point, the Spanish Capital of Asturias was separated from the remaining Spanish regions, leaving them with only one resource (iron) and devastating their economy in the process. Since then, Spain has battled back, and currently only has one occupied region. This region (Extremadura) is under attack and sees Spain holding a 4-0 lead. America will have to get help from their European allies, if they hope to push this battle into their prime time.
Brazil is also trying to reenter Spain. Andalucia is under Brazilian attack and they are curretnly holding a 6-2 advantage. Things are looking good for Brazil.
If America can regain the initiative, and Brazil can continue to win, Terra could deal quite a bit of damage to Spain, right before Congressional Elections.

Balkans
As usual, there is conflict in the Balkans. A few weeks ago Croatia and Allies almost pulled off the unthinkable, in wiping Serbia. However, ONE pulled it together, and kept Serbia on the map. Since then, Serbia has regained almost all of their regions, and will more than likely be attacking Croatian home regions in time.

Middle East
Greece has wiped Egypt from the map. Cyprus has wiped Israel. Saudia Arabia has one region. The most interesting thing in this region is the Grecian wiping of Egypt. The Egyptians had been the regional power, holding a diverse array of resources, and surrounded by weak nations. However, they were no match for the old world power of Greece. When these new countries were introduced, it was speculated that they would be nothing more than play-things for the three strongest nations in the region (Greece, Turkey, Iran). And, it seems like that is true.

Far Eastern Asia
China. That’s all that needs to be said. They are the regional power, and they are flexing their muscles. Fresh off a land swap that gave them a border with Sweden (yes, that Sweden), China has shown that they can play with the big boys. They are currently trading battles with Indonesia. And they have holdings in North Korea, Indonesia, India and Scandinavia.

Not picture😛 Scandinavia

Overall Analysis
Seems to be business as usual in the New World. There are wars aplenty. However, there does not seem to be a whole lot of campaigns being waged. America, Brazil and Spain have been at it since the Second American Invasion, and although both sides have seen great success, neither has been able to sustain it. Croatia and Serbia continue their constant wars, as do Canada, Ireland and the UK. Neither side being able to sustain too much success for too long. The most interesting thing to happen of late, was China’s ability to push all the way to North Europe, and to see success against the traitorous state of Sweden.
