In previous Gold tournaments South Africa have managed a respectable top-30 (25-34). This leads to nice defence shields and lots of Gold in our country coffers. Traditionally, we have split the Gold among the top 100 by percentage of damage dealt, because we would have nothing without their enthusiasm. If you did 20% of our total damage you got 20% of the Gold won less the 10% for Government. This encouraged some spectacular achievements and awarded playing smart for the more useful thing to the nation... a decent shield.

The government have since changed so all policy is out the window. When last I looked South Africa was ranked 60.

We all know how much damage South Africa is capable of from the World Cup tournament. How strong is the policy of exclusion in the face of 2 billion lost damage?
