Greeling Invades Canada

Late Tuesday and well into Wednesday, US Vice President Greeling led American forces in the long awaited invasion of Canada. And although at this point it’s early in the campaign, Canadian President Rylde has already capitulated, allowing Greeling to step in as Dictator-for-Life of the newly renamed Greelinganada.
As seen in this map (below), Canadian citizens have embraced their new Dictator, renaming every province in tribute to their new leader.

Dictator Greeling promises to be a benevolent leader, allowing Greelingadians to retain their national sports of curling and penguin bowling. However, bacon will now and forever be only allowed as tasty thick strips of pork belly, and Celine Dion will be forced to relinquish her crown as Queen of Saskatchewan. Hockey has already been pwned by the Red Wings, so that’s not an issue.

Americans are urged to embrace our new subordinate Greelinadian citizens, welcoming them to shovel our sidewalks and share our dogs’ Kibbles’n’Bits. Dictator-for-life Greeling is currently working with our IES (Immigration Dept) to develop a “fast track to full citizenship” for Greelingadian babies born during and after the assimilation of regions, but all current Greelinadians are subject to arbitrary deportation to their beloved Serbia without notice.

Today’s Hero Coin goes to NSC Deputy emdoublegee. When I called upon my staff to put their minds to the task of developing a strategy for slicing through Canada, emdoublegee answered the call with a battle plan that looked like it had been lifted from the secret filing cabinets deep in the bowels of the Pentagon. Americans will one day get to look upon his battle plans, once the war with Canada is decided, but until then America needs to know that with emdoublegee on the job in the National Security Council, our fighting forces will be well-directed. Great work emdoublegee, you are an American Hero!

Operation Grey Cup is in full Swing.

“May eCanada’s frozen forests and fields be finally thawed by their liberation from the misguided and misaligned government which currently holds hostage the hope of true freedom.” - Gnilraps

The USA has attacked British Columbia. Do not be afraid. We will liberate our brethren in NORTH USA. She will be free from oppression once again. I commend our freedoms-loving brothers in the NORTH for fighting so hard. However, the fight for your own soul has just begun. Drop the MPP with Serbia and again know freedom and unconditional love. Good luck finding yourself.



We do not forget our allies in Europe.

1. We will continue to defend the United Kingdom, with the help of Poland and the full support of SIRIUS. The Republic of Moldova’s Airstrike into Belgium and subsequent roll into the UK could have been a surprise to some, but the United Kingdom is not afraid. Moldova has won seven battles against the UK. Can the United Kingdom make a stand in Wales? Finland has joined the party, like the big brother that overprotects her siblings (Norway and Sweden). And She will taste the cold steel of SIRIUS, as we repel all invaders to the Great Isles.

2. Hungary continues to cut her way across Europe, marring her landscape with baby-sh** green. Eventually she will make a mistake and attack one of our allies, who will cut her down. It’s interesting to see Hungary doing a lot of the heavy lifting for ASTERIA. Serbia sits back and contemplates her next move, while working on Croatia. I must ask, though. How gratifying can it be to continuously beat up on Italy. What did they ever do to you?

3. The USA and Spain continue to delete France from the map. The United States has won sixteen battles in the war and is about to attack. Spain has won two battles and looks to win Limousin, easily. Your liberation is coming, France.

ASTERIA has marched heavily upon the United Kingdom, but she will not fall. As we see Hungary continue to cut across Europe, where will she end up? Who will she attack? Serbia will look to slowly regain regions, as Croatia has been eliminated once again. But Croatia will be back. She will continue to RW regions, and be a thorn in Serbia and Slovenia’s sides, until the end of time. It’s good to see Albania and BiH sitting in front of Serbia, but how long will Serbia focus her gaze elsewhere?

Eventually, ASTERIA will turn their gaze from the United Kingdom, and the European map will change. Until then, we shouldn’t see too many changes.




Update on Operation Grey Cup

As previously announced, eUSA launched an offensive against the snow-bound northern territories which are known to some as "Canada". The first battle of the war took place over the course of Tuesday-Wednesday. The territory where war was waged is called "Snow-Covered-British-Columbia", sometimes just referred to as "British Columbia" or "One of those big empty lego-shaped boxey looking blocks of ice to our north".

The fighting was quite fierce throughout. The Snow-people called on their new-found accomplices in LETO and Asteria. eUSA eventually also looked to Sirius for help. As the battles unfolded, it became clear that this was going to be a statement win for somebody. In eRepublik terms, the battle qualified as "epic" and so received the appropriate badge on the wars page.

After building a 66-33 lead, Snowlandia began to look like the big winner for the day. It seemed that they would finally have an actual battlefield victory to match the din of their media and shout-feed trolling.

But the brave tanks of eUSA and Sirius rolled in and put a freeze on the misplaced hopes of those who eat snow and wear snow on their heads for entertainment. The military campaign was turned and America was victorious.

And so on this day, across the glaciers and frost of British Columbia, the fighting forces of Sirius prevailed against evil and snow. Or I suppose it's kind of redundant to say "evil and snow", but whatever.



On a more serious note, it should also be mentioned that the loss of Baja was a planned loss. its determination had reached the point at which it needed to be returned to Mexico. Plans are already in place for its recovery.
