There comes a time every month when America must rise to the obstacle set forth before her. It's a time which always proves to be slippery for us to handle, and this month we've got twice the load to deal with.
It's Congress time people.
Time to grab your majestic steed and ride forth, dear America.
Things are a little different this month, however, as the Government is attempting a Congressional freeze so that voters may be moved to Russia to vote in American candidates. After we successfully PTO'd the parties of Russia, this looks to be a completable task. But there remain other obstacles.
People have said time and again the it is "un-ethical" for America to PTO other countries after asking for help with ATO's. Many of these people are the same ones who tend to take this game a little too seriously. You know the type of player I'm talking about.
Role players.
Now there's nothing wrong with getting into character or a little acting. Being an actor myself I know this. The real issue isn't really whether you can get into character, its more that whether you can get out of character.
This isn't real life. This is a game. You aren't actually a politician, you're playing one in an online simulation with other people, most of whom you've never met. So get over you so-called morals and quit complaining about the corruption of "America," because that doesn't exist here. There's only the game, and right now we have a chance to win.
It's time to set aside such notions and get behind America's efforts to rule this game.
Oh beautiful, for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain...
The Top 5 Parties have kindly asked me to include links to their blocker sign up. It's literally the most patriotic thing you can do right now for your country. If you got anymore patriotic you'd be a firework, and you'd explode, and while that would be cool for maybe a moment, it really wouldn't be as good as signing up to help defend your country against foreign intrustion.

twisted-pixel, that's an interesting question to pose, one I've thought of myself. But you see, it's my belief that most of that talk about morality is just to be part of the character. I've known few players (myself included) who honestly morally thought this was wrong.
I got over that when I realized that Phoenix does this all the time, and that their people would be calling us out on being hypocrites not because of morality, but because they don't want it to happen. When put in this context, I think you can begin to see my thinking, no?

The potential for a PTO offensive and the strategy of an ATO defense represent two of the most exciting aspects of the game.
I see no moral conflict as long as everyone plays by the rules, ie., no multis to accomplish the goals, no appropriation of PTO'ed funds, gains for personal or "clique" use.
