WHPR [Day 1,088] - Media and Jobs

Day 1,088, 20:38 Published in USA USA by James S. Brady Press Room
Media Rocks your Socks

So, people complain about the crappy media. This cuts me deep, America. This is technically my “responsibility” so I feel guilty when I read this. I feel like I should be doing more. Then I get a few good ideas. Then as I think about them, I realize how unrealistic they are. A lot of them require a sustained effort from people outside the government, people in the government, and average players. I just don’t want to do that. Thankfully, I’ve come up with a few keepers that should allow our media to begin to regrow.

I need everyone to know it is never going to be perfect again. We simply can’t go back to the WW3 days when there was content and quality in abundance and new writers had a chance to excel and gain a spot among the privileged writers.

What we can do is over time help to nurture new writers and encourage them to keep writing so that one day they might become the second greatest Secretary of Media of all time.

I’ll unveil those plans soon, after I’ve had a chance to fully flesh them out and thoroughly criticize every possible flaw in them. In the mean time we have a very important project that has been going for a long time that isn’t receiving nearly the attention it needs.

That is the Pony Express.

Subscribe to it, click the links and the vote button. As long as you don’t live in the internet service hell-hole that is Texas, you should have no problem completing this task in less than 30 seconds. If you have more than 30 seconds, you can even read the articles. Go and vote them up.

Get Less Bored

If you’re bored then I highly suggest that you sign up for a government job. For most people that is where you truly get involved, active, and excited about the game. It can be a great process and much like the military, you get to meet some great people and have some good times. Give it a try. Or not.

Secretary’s Note: Sorry this is so srs bsns. I’m tired and I’m leaving for New Zealand and Australia tomorrow. It should be exciting. Unfortunately you might not get to read my wonderful articles quite as often. Try and remain strong. If you breakdown, simply talk to Gulden Draak. He can help console you. Or you can take out your rage on Indonesia. I recommend both, personally. You’re going to need every coping mechanism at your disposal.

Don’t hate me,

Kentel
