Whorehouse Easter Dominance
Rylde
In a unprecedented victory the Whorehouse took congress by storm on the 25th by electing 16 of 16 of there running candidates. I know politics is nearly dead in the country but I'll still gloat a bit that the CPF got smacked around this election and our wars have obviously led to greater voter confidence. I'm sure Cordis active votes also come in handy.
Not much planned for politics this month for our party as the forum is long toasted and to much for even an old player like me to revive. I run Cordis and takes my runs at CP so that's all my plate will allow for. Its going to take players with will to get the ball rolling on organized politics around here.
I will guarantee that if someone tries to revive politics the whorehouse will answer the bell. We have our discussion group pm up so anyone from other parties are welcome to join in. I'll be sending some friends requests out and making a monthly pm.
Happy Easter everyone from the Whorehouse

"there" is spelt "their" or did you mean "the?"
;-P
Honest question, Rylde...
What the hell happened to you guys in the Great White North? When I was last paying attention, Canada seemed fine, if not a bit rough around the edges. Now I look back, and it seems like it's just you attempting to hold things together with paperclips, glue, and bits of string.
IMO, a lot of eCanadians stopped caring.
And as Canadians, we use duct tape to hold things together.
Ah, so you're just out of duct tape then, I see.
Dictatorship pretty much ruined what was left as we had our bickering going still. Those that stayed to bicker also fought. I tried to keep Politics alive while we were under dictatorship but those that hated me in ultimate power sabotaged the forum.
Now months later no one bothers going there and it generated a lot of activity. I'm not willing to put that much time into this game anymore as I already run a full supply MU and keep the skeleton crew govt operational.
war can no longer even get many motivated although I have seen some tanking from our side so there's hope.
Well, good luck, either way.
Community is what keeps people in the game, and the more people stay in the game, the more interesting it for all of us.
maple syrup if all fails
I watched 'Communion' the other night with Walken in it. Great film, very weird.
He had an awesome scene in True romance and its a good movie as a whole.
Yh, that scene is awesome
~hyuu~
Politics isn't nearly dead in eCanada - it is dead. Nobody cares anymore. There's no forum discussions (the one proposal from last term was my own to repeal all our nominal laws) and not really much happening in PMs. With the almost complete lack of non-Executive prerogative proposals last month I can't imagine what kind of discussion RW was having (approve Rylde' MPP proposal isn't much of a discussion, in my books).
I don't really hold out much hope for change and certainly not with our current leadership right across the board. While I'll grant you that having a war for a few weeks is more entertaining than not doing anything at all, there needs to be more to this game than an AS or training war. eCanadian leaders need to, well, lead eCanada in a broad sense, especially if we ever actually want to keep new players playing.
I don't think that having our current leadership step aside will help if there's nobody around to step up and replace them with new ideas and the will to see them through. But if this is the best they have to offer will anybody miss them if they're gone? Really, how much worse can things really get around here?
Not even an endorsement. That's why I don't buy your goods off the market.
I'd be hard pressed to disagree with you on your points. I'm not willing to put in the time at any kind of revival and I keep the Skelton crew govt afloat. I spend more time keeping cordis in the black so it's not a money pit.
Lol. Have you ever seen me endorse an article? If I like an article, I'll vote for it. That's why that button exists. If I actually thought that endorsing articles would lead to a cadre of entertaining journalists I'd be the first to sign up but we hit the 48 hour mark regularly without even a filler on a regular basis. Besides, I pretty much see my money as being held in trust for the CAF these past few years.
Actually, I didn't even vote for this article. You're bragging about something that means absolutely nothing. I'm not sure that you're actually proud of your meaningless victory in a dead module but we both know you shouldn't be.
And while I appreciate the honesty and understand that you're not really in the position to lead an eCanadian renaissance, I don't think you even deserve a vote for that (come to think of it, probably not on the 5th either) as you are still our CP and you're basically admitting that you've given up.
I'm not in a position to turn things around either but I'm not putting myself up for the big job, either. Gonna send 25 cc my way for my efforts?
You're having a whale of a good time with this game, Rylie.
Sexy buny 😁

I'm still in congress...Pretty much all that matters.
