Lately we have seen an uneasy cooperation developing between TWO and most of the ex-EDEN countries. While this cooperation is considered unsavory by a lot of players from both camps, the situation on the battlefield shows that it happens nevertheless. And both sides profit from it.
Given water is wet and ex-EDEN is cooperating with TWO against CoT, my short analysis would focus only on what it takes to make this cooperation better in spite of how difficult it still is to swallow it.
The only real issue of importance is the Croatian-Serbian rivalry.
Technically Serbia could let Croatia alone since Croatia can be easily bypassed through Montenegro.
The same goes for Croatia. Once their core regions are free, they can concentrate on defending India (Croatia's new version of Mexico - for those of my readers old enough to remember Croatia's epic Mexican episode).
Logic says both countries would be better off if they would simply stop kicking each other's butt.
The BIG QUESTION is "would both Serbia and Croatia let reason prevail?"

uneasy? hm, there's nothing uneasy in this merge, it was actually natural. it's not like you have fought against 2 for the last year or so. each and every country that was occupied by two was sacrificed by eden to rot for months and years. something you shamlessly denied but something that was present the entire time.
the only good thing is that eden's incredible hipocrisy that was poisoning the game for such a long time is finally over.
From the very beginning it could have been CoT + EDEN vs TWO. But Bulgaria felt the urge to NE Turkey.

Just say the truth: We can't take bonuses from 2 that's why we never fought against 2 for the last year or so and that's why we constantly attacked CoT. That's why we left half of our alliance to rot under 2, tons of countries permanently sacrificed without a congress for months while we fought for bonuses.
There isn't really any point to invent 1 million other reasons to justify something that's been obvious for so long, especially now when all the cards are already at the table. : D
You see even 2 who have never hid that their main goal are bonuses for the big ones have never been so cynical as EDEN has been. To completely leave and ignore half of your alliance because of bonus-hunt ( add to this the constant lies and propaganda of some brotherhood BS) and for such a long time, well that's really a record in this game.
Out of curiosity: how could EDEN defeat TWO and liberate "half of our alliance" when EDEN was defending against both TWO and CoT?
It all started with Bulgaria NE-ing Turkey. From then on EDEN was on the defensive against both alliances.
But that being said, I'd love to hear your solution about defeating TWO while defending against CoT.
Yep, I know, you didn't have enough dmg to fight atleast for congress for your members but you had enough dmg to fight for bonuses for months and years. We've already heard that before 100's of times. : D

What a blatant lie. It was CoT who was on a defensive against EDEN since the moment it was created. At the beginning each month CoT countries were set for deletion by EDEN with the situation in S. America being the worst. Only in recent months CoT moved the fight into EDEN's territory.
Even when BG-TR war was stopped EDEN's priorities still were against CoT, in S. America and everywhere else.
You did not defend against CoT, you attacked CoT while at the same time you were under attack by 2 which you simply ignored and abandoned each and every country that was under 2's occupation, ironically even Croatia was added to that list, or even Romania on the ocasions it was fighting against 2.
Your merge with 2 is simply natural given that it's been your policy for the last year or so. ; )
So I guess declaring war on Turkey was a defensive move.

1) Why having to conclude peace when you could have avoided the war _by_ _NOT_ _declaring_ _it_ ?
2) You were the weaker enemy. Why would EDEN focus on TWO?
3) Why did you _chose_ to be the enemy of EDEN instead of replacing Terra as EDEN's partner?
4) You didn't like Turkey? Fine! Leave EDEN, keep the MPPs with everybody there like the US did when they left EDEN and form your own alliance like the US did with Terra. Why start by declaring war on Turkey?

Valahian, it is true. last term romanian mofa came to me with proposal for peace and 3 days after that your CP stated he doesn't know about such thing and he never wanted it. it's all documented with screens and i published article about that with them on it
mihail, you are speaking about things happened one year ago, i am speaking about things happened last month. you know very well consolidation between TWO and Eden is not possible as a whole because of the years waging war. Even if CoT is defeated, it will be, because there are no superpowers vying for bonuses and power there. we are used to live without them so it won't be problem, but for the opposite side... i'm not sure
Of course I speak about things which happened a year ago, because they determine the current situation.
Let me spell it out for you: Bulgaria's and Macedonia's presence in Arabia run against the natural direction of expansion for Greece and Turkey.
Bulgaria could have chosen to expand into the colonies offered by Russia and into the surplus territories in Iran _if_ Bulgaria would have made that deal with Turkey.
Macedonia could have happily stayed in Italy and Southern France.
Both Bulgaria and Macedonia were pushed by rabid nationalism to "settle the score" with the Greeks and the Turks.
By doing so they put CoT into a position where CoT has nothing of value to offer to ex-EDEN while TWO can make very attractive proposals.
So why are you guys so surprised that TWO and ex-EDEN finally came to an agreement? You made every possible effort to speed up that agreement.

The current Croatian-Serbian war makes no strategic sense. Each country can happily fight other interesting wars against various CoT enemies _AND_ enjoy bonuses in the same time.
Croatia fighting Serbia only makes Plato fat.
