What is it that one can do? - One Tin Soldier nr. 49

Dear readers,
every single one of us is but a peon in the grand picture of our eRepublic, some more and some less well-known or important, but, nevertheless, the peon.

So, what can a peon do? There are many things that could and should be done in this game. Every eCountry can throw you a list of things that need to be done. Most of us (the players) have great ideas of what could be done to improve the state of our eCountry, but how many of us are willing to commit hours and hours of work for it?

So, you ask, what can a Peon do? How can i influence the New World around me? Well, as for the most important thing: you can Vote!

So, today is Congress Election day, so TODAY, your 1 click can change a lot. People who lived in PTOed eCountries know what i'm talking about. I remember the times when eSerbia lost very most of it's regions due to TakeOver. I remember the times when i had to move to other eCountry and "smuggle" Q1 food in eSerbia so we can give it out to eBabies, becouse there was none on our market due to takeover. Hell, i even donated Q1 food to eCroatian babies when our guys made TakeOver there.

Getting bad guys in congress can only lead to players getting poor and downtrodden. What we need to do, at all times, is to know that on the other side of the screen, there is a player, just like you, trying to do his best in the New World. Why not give them a chance to fight back - the only way this game was designed to fight: with Armies.

Why would you be that small and dirty, trying TakeOver, when we all know that eBelgium could easily be conquered by force. If you are to conquer eBelgium, it takes nothing for you to be polite about it.

As for eBelgium, i wish eBelgians all the luck they can get today: we all know you guys need it more then anyone at this point.

eSerbian part of article
(stuff of no special concern to anyone outside of eSerbia)

I would like to welcome new players to the game. They are invaluable asset to our eSociety, and i only hope that we know how to appreciate the time you guys and girls commit to this game. As a guy in charge for cleaning Training companies in eSerbia of inactive players, i have to tell you that there are less inactive players then before. So, conquering some regions and waging interesting wars is really showing its effect here.

But what now? More and more people get in the game, i mean - look at ePoland. Their biggest party has nearly 6K members (rumor is that it took whole cluster on server, so that when people try to join it now, they get error message). HOW do you control amounts of people that leading countries are starting to deal with? You can't publish paper properly, at weekends, if you write an article, chances are that it won't be on latest news 6 hours later - and we are 8th when it comes to amount of newspaper writers we have. There are ideas, people make organizations that track news and then publish 1 article that tells you whats good with link to those articles. But, really, is THAT the solution?

Yesterday, we had major victory over eRomania (and whoever says that they didn't try, IS lying to you) so we took Sofia over. Finally there is good coordination among our troops, both national and paramilitary. Are there more victories to come? Just you wait, we are only warming up guys 😃

I have to notice that Phoenix suffers from the same problem as Peace GC di😛 We look like we are asleep most of the time, and then, as the end of the month nears - we start our actions. Everything has to be done fast and clean. I have contemplated on that matter for some time, and i think i know why we are forced to do so. Our strongest countries are not considered "Rich" in real life, so buying gold is, in most cases, not an option. End of the month is specific since presidents notice that their mandate is soon to pass, and then stop and think of what have they done during their rule. And, each and every one of them would like to do More then he did so far. With money gathered during the month, Phoenix can go and make some mess. So, with the end of the month coming up, gather up your weapons, soldiers, get some tickets, and lets get ready to rumble! 😃

As for cartels forming in eSerbia - i decided not to advertise them more then they deserve. There ARE, and ALWAYS WILL BE people who will fight you. In this game, patience is the key to everything, so: don't be greedy, and try to have rational profit from your companies. Try to give good pays for your workers and easy products to your fellow eCountrymen. If you can't commit several hours a day to leading your company, you might want to rethink your investments.

We all need to do ONLY as much as we can, no one will ever ask you for more,

One Tin Soldier,
Leaffly
